Happy Birthday Cutscenes

1

So, well, um... I've got a present for you! Because it's your... birthday, right?
Here you go. I drew your portrait. There's Vyrn in the corner.
Wait, is that a fake smile? This is one of my best works, you know!

2

Today's your birthday? Ooh, I'm so sorry! I forgot all about it!
But here's a picture book I drew about you.
N-no, it's not my usual romance stuff. I tried to portray your heroic exploits!
I put everything I have into it. Why don't you take a look inside?
W-well?
No, that's not a monster, dear.
And no, that's not a primal beast, my love.
Wait... where did I go wrong?

3

H-hi there... Today's your birthday, right? I can't believe I just happened to remember!
So here's, um... my very favorite illustrated storybook...
A Beauty on the Battlefield, okay?
I just wanted to share its breathtaking detail with someone else. Or rather, I wanted to share it with you...
But be sure to give it back to me before the end of the week.
Huh? Of course I'm not giving it to you. You're only borrowing it, so don't dirty up the pages.

4

Happy birthday.
Don't you want to take center stage during your own birthday party? Hm, that's a bit of a shame.
Me? I'm getting my present for you ready.
It'll be a drawing this year. Not a storybook—just a single piece of art.
It's a picture of you in bliss, surrounded by everyone in the crew. The scenery before us inspired me.
I'll be done by the time the party's over. I'll show it to you then.
I want it to be a lovely reminder of the good times had today, so I need to focus.

5

It's already your birthday again, (Captain).
Here you go, your present. It's a picture of you doing your thing. Sorry there's only the one scene.
But I was thinking someday I would make a work chronicling the whole crew's adventures.
I'm not sure when I'll have time to get to it, but when I finish it, you'll be the first to read it, (Captain).
After all, you're the one that invited me on this journey.
I truly hope today turns out to be a wonderful birthday.
Oh, the picture book would of course be for all ages, so you don't have to look so taken aback!

Happy New Year Cutscenes

1

Hm, not too sure about this one... Oh, happy New Year. I was just working on a rough sketch.
The kind young male character is set, but I'm stuck on whether to make his friend a suave gentleman or an older hooligan.
Oh, I know! A young man and a suave gentleman pair will work just fine! What am I fussing about?

2

Do you remember that romance comic I showed you last year? The one with the suave gentleman and the shy young man meeting at a New Year's party?
The story might've been a bit too forced. So now I'm trying to write something simpler.
Simple and romantic! Teehee, I can't wait to draw in all the juicy details tonight!

3

T-take a look... I tried writing out a New Year's wish. S-so what do you think?
Usually you write a wish using words...
But I decided to draw a picture instead. It's my first piece of art for the year!
Doing it all with just a brush and black ink is pretty hard though... It just seems unfinished without some color, you know?
But take a look right here. I added tiny bubbles in a pattern all over. When you look at it from afar, it looks shaded, right?
Hee hee! I've learned something new! But it's too early in the year to be getting these hand cramps...

4

Happy New Year.
I came up with a few drawings to use for greeting cards. Can you tell me which one you like best?
They all depict monsters engaging in fun activities like badminton, poker, kite-flying...
I tried drawing some normal animals too, but the monsters get a lot more attention. Must be a case of gap moe.
Hm? Romantic storybooks? Oh, there's no way I'd put that kind of art in New Year's greeting cards.
Besides, it'd be against the rules to push my interests on oth—
Ah...
Y-you saw?
Well, I had this really strong urge to portray romance, and I do have a few friends who'd be interested, so...
H-hey, stop looking at me like that!
These aren't meant for the average person, so I just let my creative juices run wild!

5

Happy New Year, (Captain). Are you heading out somewhere?
Oh, first visit to a shrine? I see...
I'm here to meet up with the other members of CtK4Life. We said we'd meet up to hang out for the new year.
Huh? You'll join us? Oh, after you come back?
So I should join you first? You're inviting me to the shrine? Well, that doesn't sound bad, but...
S-stop! Don't push me! It's cold outside! I miss the kotatsu already!

Valentine's Day Cutscenes

1

Ah... Well... There's something I want to give you! It's chocolate...
But don't take it the wrong way! It's just leftovers from the offering to my evil eye.
Oh, what am I saying? Just give me back the chocolate! Let's pretend this never happened!

2

Captain, thanks for having me on your crew. Here's some Valentine's chocolate.
Well, I'm off then.
Huh, I seem more relaxed than last year? That's... well...
Hey, don't say stuff that's not in the script! Great, now we're all weirded out!
Okay, from the start again! Here's some Valentine's chocolate!

3

Lunalu mumbles to herself as she stands before a mirror.
S-so... I made you some chocolates... If it's all right, th-then...
Here's some chocolate! But don't get any ideas about it! It's not like I made them for you or anything!
I offer my thanks to you. Please partake of these chocolates.
Ahhh... What should I do?
How can I do this without getting so nervous? If only it felt more natural...
Whoa!
W-were you watching me? Were you watching me the whole time?

Lunalu is flustered as she throws a box of chocolates in (Captain)'s direction and speeds past the captain.

4

Happy Valentine's.
H-here you go. Please be sure to look through it.
You can't tell what it is? It's a script.
I realized that maybe you get so nervous on this day every year because you have trouble thinking of what to say.
So I prepared lines for you and me this time.
J-just make sure you put some emotion into it. Okay... I'll start.
Hm... Isn't today supposed to be some sort of holiday?
...
Gah! You're supposed to respond with, "Ooh, playing hard to get, are we?"
It's too embarrassing to actually say?
No way! Which part?

5

Happy Valentine's Day. Here, it's a script. It's pretty short, so do you think you could look through it now?
Last year you said it was pretty embarrassing to read aloud, so this year I tried to make it more natural.
Normally I prefer more romance in my lines, but I had to take your tastes into consideration too.
Finished reading? Just like the script says, I'll start by giving you cho... choco... Huh?
Agh! The cho-cho-chocolate!
I was so busy making the script, I forgot the chocolate!
Eh-heh, so (Captain), look over that script one more time, and let's try for real tonight!
I've got an important, uh, meeting right now, so, um, bye!

1

What? A present? For me? No way. You have feelings... for me?
Ooh... What do I do? I can't believe this is happening in real life...
Oh, this just won't do! I've pledged my love to Prince Popol! I'm sorry but I can't accept this gift!

2

Ugh, what's this for?
I told you the same thing last year, but I'm already taken. My heart's with Popol. I can't accept this.
It's time for you to wake up and smell the coffee! We can't keep going on like this!
Stop toying with my emotions!

3

I-I can't believe you... I can't believe you got me a gift again this year...
Tell me! Is toying with me that fun to you?
It's true that Popol is out of my reach...
No, rather he's someone I shouldn't even reach for. The fate of his dramatic saga has already been decided.
But even so...
I need you to understand already! I can't accept your gift! I just can't!
The gift is just to show your gratitude? I won't fall for that excuse!
I'm sorry, but goodbye!

4

Hm...
Eep!
H-hello. Were you looking for me?
No, not really?
You're kidding... Surely there must be something you can't wait to give me...
For example... Something related to today's date...
That's right! It's White Day! So you do know!
I refuse your gift every year anyway, so you thought I didn't need the chocolates?
Except I do need them!
It's true I already have Popol, so I can't accept, but...
That's not the point!

5

Thank you, (Captain)! I'm glad you enjoyed your Valentine's gift enough to get me something in return!
Actually I was a little anxious that you wouldn't get me anything this year. Ugh, sorry, this is just embarrassing...
Huh? What's wrong? Wait, what's going on?
Oh, not at all. I just thought about how I've accepted your gifts every year, so I thought I would play the innocent girl this time.
Hey, don't look so surprised!
Sigh... Everyone on this ship knows what I'm really like, so maybe it's too late.
Then again... Knowing full well who I am, you still got me a present, (Captain). Maybe you're just as weird as me.

Trick or Treat Cutscenes
# Link Text
1

Bah, why is everyone asking me to draw them something?
They'll be using my illustrations to trick-or-treat. But they're just ordinary drawings...

2

Hm, you're here to place an order too? Sorry, had you mixed up with the customers.
For some reason, this costume I drew last year has blown up, and everyone's been asking for the real thing.
This year, even people outside the crew are asking for it. Who's this Drang person though?

3

Lunalu mumbles to herself as she stands before a mirror.
Luna-Luna-Lunalu! Witch Girl Lunalu has arrived! Now, trick or treat!
Heh-heh, as if... It's so silly that it's not even laughable.
I'm much to old to get treats...
Yikes! Were you here the whole time?
Forget it! Erase it from your memory this instant!

4

Happy Halloween. Hehe... You're not getting away.
One way or another, I'm gonna dress you up in one of my specially-prepared Halloween costumes!
Let's see... Which one would be more embarrassing to strut about with? The frilly costume or the skimpy costume?
Consider this punishment for laying eyes on my forbidden dress last year...
Do you have any idea how humiliating it was?
Now prepare yourself!
Huh? You're wondering where my Witch Girl Lunalu costume is?
I-I don't keep it around, okay?

5

Well hello, (Captain). You've arrived right at the hour I asked you to on the Halloween party RSVP card.
But I've got some bad news. In truth, the party happening tonight will be between just the two of us.
Hehe, you know what's happening don't you? Why else would I send you an invitation to a fake party?
That's right! This year will be the year I make you wear a frilly Halloween costume, come hell or high water!
There's nowhere to run! That door won't open. Not until you don this lovely outfit, that is.
Hehe. I hope you enjoy this trick as much as I'm going to.
I almost forgot! For the rest of the night, your name is Witch Girl! Now, resign yourself to your fate and slip into this ensemble!
Lunalu, charged with frenetic passion, leaps at (Captain) with the frilly costume in hand.

Happy Holidays Cutscenes
# Link Text
1

Sorry to tell you, but today's festivities aren't really my thing.
I've gotta get back to drawing anyway...
My next work? I'll let you in on a few details.
It's a story about Santa's mischievous son who befriends a fragile, sickly young man. I'm drawing the chimney scene now...

2

Ah, the holiday season always reminds me of my childhood. Especially the year I came to love all things romantic.
My parents bought me a book on anatomy, and certain drawings in it really grabbed my attention.
My parents got the wrong idea and thought I wanted to be a doctor or something. I felt so guilty seeing their excitement.
Oh look, it's snowing!

3

The scenery is so pretty... Bright little snowflakes falling gently through the air...
Tonight the sky is overflowing with love, don't you think? The weather is chilly, but the day is filled with warm hearts...
I bet that fancy guy is saying I made dinner reservations just for you today...
And the young guy says I'm not dressed for such a nice place...
Then the fancy guy says Don't fret. No one's stopping us...
Ahhh... How sweet!

4

(Captain), do you happen to be free right now?
I was just thinking of taking a walk around town on this festive night for some creative inspiration.
I thought of going alone at first, given how busy everyone is and that I'd simply be drawing sketches.
But there's so much going on out there that I'm not sure I can handle it alone.
So please... If you can just accompany me...

5

I figured the streets would be awash with couples.
(Captain), I have to apologize. Sorry to make you come with me to buy art supplies on this festive day.
Oh, but this mood is almost too much to bear. Makes me so tired... Maybe I'll just take a nice little nap, yawn...
...! W-wait! Look over there! Two young men walking side by side!
Are they friends? Coworkers? But they're only carrying one cake box. Judging by the size, it should contain two individual slices!
C-c-could it b-be! A co-cou-couple? Did they just finish picking out presents for each other... To-together?
We need to leave now, (Captain)! Suddenly I'm overcome with inspiration! I have to get to work on my next piece!

Into the Sunset

Lunalu is selling her romantic storybook at the Sphiria Book Fair, and Lyria and Vyrn arrive to cheer her on. Lyria reads the first half of Lunalu's book and comments that it is very warm and easy to understand—words that Lunalu takes to heart.

No version of Lunalu in crew

One day the crew undertook a certain assignment and met a monster artist named Lunalu.
But despite being a monster artist, her workroom was filled with pictures of men...
Lunalu: Right now I'm only known for drawing monsters. But I really want to be recognized for romantic art.
The crew stared at her blankly, and she continued.
Lunalu: Knights in shining armor... princes from far-off lands... Don't you ever dream about such things?
Lunalu: Personal fantasies like that are captured very well in illustrated storybooks.
Lunalu: But as for what I'd want to create... I guess you'd call them romantic storybooks.
Lunalu had always been bothered by the fact that her artistic skills and interests were at odds with each other.
Unable to give up on her dream, Lunalu joined the crew to collect romantic storybooks and start seriously pursuing her goal.
Lunalu: Amazing... To think that I'll have the chance to gather all kinds of romantic objects...
Lunalu: Is this a dream? If it is, I hope I don't wake up.
Since then Lunalu has gained a lot of experience on her travels and made steady progress toward improving as an artist.
Lunalu: Glance...
Lunalu: ...
Lunalu: Oh, they saw me looking. W-welcome!
Lunalu: Aw... There goes another one...
Lunalu: Sigh... Don't tell me I'm not even going to sell a single copy...
Lunalu: No. The fair just started. It's too early to give up!
The Sphiria Book Fair.
Having finished her romantic storybook, Lunalu is finally selling it at her first booth ever.
But love stories between men are not yet popular among the masses, so business has been poor.
Lunalu: I guess being friendly is the key... It's important to greet my customers with a big smile.
Lunalu: I'll try practicing in the mirror. Let's see... If I just raise the corners of my mouth like this...
Lunalu: Grin...
Vyrn: Wh-whoa... What's going on, Lunalu? Why are you smiling like an evil villain who's up to no good?
Lunalu: Huh? Who are you calling an evil villain? You're supposed to smile when greeting customers.
Lunalu: Wait... Vyrn? Lyria?
Lyria: Hello! We came to cheer you on. Congratulations on finishing your book!
Lunalu: Th-thanks. You didn't have to go to all this trouble.
Vyrn: How's the reception? You drew one of those romantic storybook things, right?
Lunalu: The reception? Well... I haven't even sold a single copy.
Lunalu: But it's fine. My main goal this time was just to participate. I'll worry about results and whatnot later.
Lunalu: First I'll get a feel for where I stand, and then I'll use the knowledge I gain to take the next step forward.
Vyrn: Hmm. That makes sense. You're real serious about your art, huh.
Lunalu: I suppose. I want to be a professional one day, so I need to be realistic.
Lyria: That's really impressive! Are the books on this table yours, Lunalu? Do you mind if I read it?
Lunalu: Er, well... It's for adults only...
Lunalu: Well, the first half is safe... And I would like to hear your thoughts...
Lyria: Yay, thank you! Then I'll go ahead and read the first half.
Vyrn: Oh? Your art sure has changed a lot. When we first met you, it was pretty scary.
Lunalu: Hm... I-I suppose. I still have a long way to go though.
Lyria: Let's see... It takes place on a beach... And there's a man with long eyelashes...
Lunalu: Urgh... Why are you giving a play-by-play? Please, just read it...
Vyrn: Huh? Hang on, Lyria. There's a piece of paper between the pages.
Lyria: Oh, you're right. There's some writing scribbled on it.
Lunalu: Scribbled writing?
Lunalu: Augh! It slipped into that book?
Lunalu: Stop! I changed my mind! No reading allowed!
Vyrn: Heh, I know what that was. It was your autograph, right, Lunalu? So you were hoping for a big reception!
Lunalu: N-no... I wasn't practicing my signature or anything! And I definitely wasn't hoping for a long line!
Lunalu: I just... had some free time, so... Mumble, mumble...
Lyria: Haha... Illustrated storybooks are really neat. There's so much art in them.
Lyria: Something about them feels... warm.
Lunalu: Huh? Warm?
Lyria: Yes. There are still a lot of things I don't understand, so regular books confuse me sometimes.
Lyria: But when I read illustrated storybooks, I can understand everything perfectly.
Lyria: And that makes me really happy. It makes me feel like it's okay for me to read too!
Lunalu: Lyria...
Lunalu: ...
Lunalu: You're right. You don't need to have lots of knowledge to enjoy them. That's what's so good about illustrated storybooks.
Lunalu: Yeah. I hope they'll become more popular!
Lyria: Me too! I want everyone to read your book!
Lyria: Oh, I know! I'll help you sell it!
Lunalu: Wait, I wanted to know what you thought... Oh well, I'll ask her later.
Lunalu: I'm so glad I met (Captain) and everyone in the crew...
Lunalu: I was able to start working toward my dream, and I made a lot of kind friends like Lyria—
Vyrn: Whoa! What's with this scene! Don't you think it's a bit much?
Lunalu: Oh, are you reading the second half? Er... I guess that would be surprising.
Lunalu: But that's what romantic art's all about. A story between men has got to have passion. And besides, in the past, relationships between men were very common—
Vyrn: B-but... You can't just let it all hang out like that. All that stuff's covered up on the other pages.
Lunalu: Hang out? Let me see that.
Lunalu: Ahhh! I forgot to fix that page!
Lunalu: Wh-what should I do? This goes against the book fair's rules... If anyone sees it, I'll definitely get kicked out!
Lyria: Welcome! We have a wonderful book for sale right over here!
Lunalu: Wait, Lyria! Stop advertising it!
Lunalu: I have to get this fixed right now! I should be able to correct twenty copies by hand!
Lunalu: Here, Vyrn! Use this brush to cover everything up with black lines!
Vyrn: Huh... You want me to do this too? Can't I have a different job?
Lunalu: Please! Please!
Lunalu: I'm begging you!
With Vyrn's assistance, Lunalu is able to overcome her sudden crisis.
Taking Lyria's feelings about romantic storybooks to heart, Lunalu reaffirms the significance of her chosen trade.

Incredibly Lifelike

After finally selling her first book, Lunalu heads off to browse the book fair and comes upon a table that has no customers. The owner of the booth turns out to be a "monstory" artist who draws storybooks about personifications of monsters. Lunalu draws the artist a picture of a monster and gives her some advice.

Lunalu: Wooow...
Lunalu: Is this heaven? Or some kind of utopia?
Lunalu: No. This is the Sphiria Book Fair.
Lunalu: A festival for illustrated storybooks!
Vyrn: Hey... What are you mumbling about?
Lunalu: W-well, can you blame me for being excited? I've dreamed about this place.
Lyria: Haha... Where would you like to go first?
Lunalu: Good question. Let me look at the pamphlet and figure out the most efficient route...
The book fair has entered its final phase.
After a rocky start, Lunalu has finally sold her first book. She leaves some friends in charge of her table and heads off to browse the book fair.
A dream-like scene lays before her.
Vyrn: Wow... There are people everywhere. This book fair thing is something else.
Lyria: It really is. But everyone's smiling and having fun... And I'm enjoying looking at all the illustrated storybooks!
Lunalu: I hear you. It's really exciting. (I'm so happy... so very happy...)
Vyrn: Yeah, but I'm kinda tired. Is there anywhere we can rest for a sec?
Vyrn: Hey, look over there! Everyone's totally ignoring that booth in the corner.
Lyria: You're right. There's no one there. I wonder what they're selling?
Lunalu: Um... Let me check the pamphlet...
Lunalu: Oh? A monstory?
Vyrn: What's that? I gotta know. Let's go take a look!
Monstory Artist: ...
Lyria: Hello... Excuse me, do you mind if we look around?
Monstory Artist: Hm?
Monstory Artist: Oh, a customer? Sure, go right ahead!
Vyrn: Hey, what kinda storybook are you selling? Where are all your customers?
Lunalu: H-hey, that's rude, Vyrn.
Monstory Artist: Haha. I don't mind. He's only telling the truth.
Monstory Artist: It seems the genre hasn't really caught on yet...
Lyria: Are you talking about the books on this table?
Lyria: But, um... What's this on the cover? What is it exactly that you draw?
Monstory Artist: It makes sense that you wouldn't know. This is called a monstory.
Vyrn: Monstormy?
Lyria: Mom story?
Lunalu: A monstory. I've heard of those before. They're about personifications of monsters, right?
Monstory Artist: Yes. The exact definition differs from fan to fan, but that's the basic idea.
Monstory Artist: After wanting to be a monstory artist for the past several years, I finally have my first booth... and now, my first customers.
Vyrn: P-personifications of monsters? That's some weird taste you got. What got you interested in that?
Monstory Artist: Hehe. Well, you see... I read a certain illustrated monster guide, and it left a big impression on me.
Monstory Artist: The illustrations in that guide book were truly enchanting. It was love at first sight!
Lunalu: The illustrations in a monster guide?
Monstory Artist: Right. I wanted to share my passion, to give it form!
Monstory Artist: So I quit my job, and while developing my method of expression, I came upon monstories!
Lyria: I see! So that's what these pictures are.
Vyrn: Well, you've definitely got passion. I don't really get it, but I hope you sell a bunch.
Monstory Artist: Thank you! But I still have a long way to go. I need to figure out how to give my art as much impact as those illustrations I admired.
Lunalu: It might be the shading...
Monstory Artist: Hm? Did you say something?
Lunalu: The impact all depends on how you show the detail of the muscles. So if you exaggerate the shading just a bit...
Lunalu: Ah... I-I'm sorry. It sounded like I was lecturing you.
Monstory Artist: N-not at all! That makes sense. Contouring... Shading...
Lunalu: Yes. For example...
Vyrn: Oh? Looks like she started drawing something.
Lyria: Wow, a monster drawing! That was really fast!
Lunalu: Hm... This monster would have this range of motion, right?
Lunalu: Using this area as a starting point, if you draw a shadow like this...
Monstory Artist: Ah! This glorious monster art! Could it be?
Vyrn: Whoa! It really packs a punch! Check it out, (Captain).
Lyria: It does! It feels like the monster's going to pop right off the page.
Vyrn: Yeah. The more I look at it, the more it feels like it's going to start moving any second!
The drawing is so realistic that (Captain) gasps.
The longer the captain stares, the more it feels like the monster is going to attack at any moment...

Incredibly Lifelike: Scene 2

When the monstory artist sees Lunalu's drawing, she realizes that Lunalu is the artist of the monster guidebook that had a huge influence on her. The artist asks for Lunalu's autograph, so Lunalu signs the signature that she had been practicing and draws a monster next to it.

Lunalu's monster drawing is so intense it looks like the real thing.
The monstory artist looks back and forth between Lunalu and the drawing, her face full of disbelief.
Monstory Artist: It's you, isn't it... You're the artist of that monster guide!
Lunalu: Oh, um... Probably? I guess? I used to draw monsters for a living.
Monstory Artist: I knew it! I'm so honored. I never dreamed I'd get the chance to meet you!
Lunalu: R-really? I'm not anything special...
Monstory Artist: What are you talking about? Please let me call you Master!
Lunalu: Master? H-hahaha...
Vyrn: Hehe! Lunalu's got a fan. She's a pretty awesome monster artist, huh?
Lyria: That reminds me... We first met Lunalu on a mission related to an illustrated monster guide, didn't we?
Vyrn: Yeah, the people at the Knicknack Shack raved about it too. It kinda feels like Lunalu's letting her talent go to waste.
Lyria: Haha... But she always looks like she's having so much fun when she's drawing her romantic storybooks.
Monstory Artist: Oh! Um, I happen to have my autograph book. Would you mind giving me your autograph?
Lunalu: My autograph? I've never signed anything before. I guess I was just too focused on my art.
Monstory Artist: I see! I'd expect no less from a true artist!
Lunalu: Of course. I didn't become an artist for the fame.
Vyrn: Haha! Don't try to hide it, Lunalu. Weren't you just practicing your autograph earlier?
Lunalu: What! H-hey, Vyrn!
Lunalu: Um... Is it really all right if I sign?
Monstory Artist: Yes! Please do!
Lunalu: Okay... I'm kind of nervous...
Lunalu: Scribble, scribble...
Lunalu: Okay, it turned out quite well. I'm glad I practiced.
Lunalu: Ah, I'll draw a monster next to it.
Lyria: Wow! Another intense monster drawing!
Vyrn: Awesome! Look, (Captain). This one looks like it's gonna come flying off the page too!

Incredibly Lifelike: Scene 3

It turns out that the monstory artist used to be a famous romantic storybook artist. Fighting off her shock and embarrassment, Lunalu asks the artist for her autograph. The monstory artist obliges and draws a beautiful man next to her signature.

Lunalu's monster drawing is once again so intense it looks like the real thing.
Overcome with emotion, the monstory artist gazes at her autograph book with tear-filled eyes.
Monstory Artist: Thank you, Master! You've given me a burst of inspiration!
Lunalu: I wish you the best of luck. I'm not drawing monsters for a living anymore, but I'd be happy to give you some pointers if I have the chance.
Monstory Artist: Is that so? What are you drawing now?
Lunalu: Er, well... The truth is, I want to be a romantic storybook artist—
Attendant: Ah, there you are! So this is where your table is, Master!
Monstory Artist: Oh, hello. Didn't I ask you to stop calling me Master? I don't draw romantic storybooks anymore.
Lunalu: Huh? Master? Romantic storybooks?
Attendant: Haha. It really is a waste. I can't believe such a talented romantic artist switched to drawing monstories.
Attendant: If you'd kept at it, I bet romantic storybooks would be really popular now! Your "Red Rose of Revolution" is infamous!
Lunalu: R-Red Rose of Revolution?
Monstory Artist: Haha. You think so? Sorry to say, but I'm into monstories now.
Monstory Artist: Oh, let me introduce you. This artist is my master—
Lunalu: Non!
Monstory Artist: Huh?
Lunalu: You're the artist of Red Rose? Why didn't you tell me?
Lunalu: Urgh... I can't believe I was giving you pointers... You're like a god to me!
Lunalu: I'm so stupid! An idiot! An utter fool!
Vyrn: H-hey, calm down.
Lyria: Y-yeah. It didn't bother you, did it?
Monstory Artist: N-not at all. But that's right, you did say you wanted to be a romantic storybook artist...
Lunalu: Autograph!
Monstory Artist: P-pardon?
Lunalu: Could I have your autograph? Otherwise I'm going die to from embarrassment!
Lunalu: Please! Please, I beg of you, Master!
Monstory Artist: H-haha... Of course. I'd be happy to!
Lunalu: Really?
Lunalu: Ah, I feel like I'm dreaming... I can't believe I'm about to get an autograph from the artist of Red Rose!
Monstory Artist: Um, let's see... I'll use a page from my autograph book...
Monstory Artist: Scribble, scribble...
Monstory Artist: Here you are. I drew the main character from Red Rose as well. It's been a while though, so I'm a bit rusty.
Lunalu: Whoa!
Lunalu: A-amazing... I can't believe you drew something so incredible so fast!
Lyria: Wow! He's really beautiful! That caught me off guard.
Vyrn: Whoa, you're right! He looks like he's about to start moving too!

Incredibly Lifelike: Scene 4

A bond forms between Lunalu and the monstory artist out of the admiration they have for each other, and they promise to give each other pointers when they have the chance. Lunalu enjoys the book fair until closing time and ends up being glad that she mustered up the courage to participate.

A bond forms between Lunalu and the monstory artist out of the admiration they have for each other.
They promise to get together and give each other pointers when they have the chance.
Finally, the end of the book fair approaches.
Lunalu: Haha! I found a Popol keychain!
Vyrn: Oh, come on, you're buying something else? Don't you think you have enough already?
Lunalu: Enough? There's no such thing. Could you help me stand in line?
Lyria: Haha... You seem full of energy, Lunalu. You're carrying tons of books like it's nothing...
Lunalu: Ah, now that you mention it, that's true. I've been pulling all-nighters nonstop lately, but suddenly I'm not feeling the least bit tired.
Lunalu: I'm glad I mustered up the courage to participate in this book fair...
Lunalu: If I'd hesitated because I told myself I wasn't good enough, I would have missed out on a wonderful experience.
Lunalu: Staying inside and focusing on drawing is important, but getting out and experiencing the world is important too. Both are indispensable for an artist's growth.
Lunalu: I'm sure of it!
Vyrn: Right on, Lunalu... I couldn't have said it better myself.
Lyria: I agree! I hope you'll set up another table sometime and let us browse the booths with you again!
Lunalu: Yeah!
Lunalu: But now it's time for the homestretch!
Lunalu continues to grow as an artist.
Using the experience she has gained, she spreads her wings of imagination more freely than ever.
