I don't read that the anniversary ticket being applied to the Valentines draw event. Does that mean the valentines draw is completely immune from coupons/tickets? Must be special in the rule against thriftiness.

Well, the new 2019 Valentines characters is out of the question then. I guess the anniversary ticket is not so different from surprise tickets. Is it like Siero's special pick ticket?

I read that Anniversary tickets cover festival draw promotions ([probably] excluding the brand new items), while the Siero tickets cover the current premium draw promotions (including the brand new items).

Since the Siero tickets only contain the normal draw pool and the current draw promotion, I assume that anything announced as available as said. Anniversary tickets can cover both normal draw pool and festival draws, but technically, it covers for hard to obtain items. This is especially true for those requiring action outside the game itself (e.g. complimentary gift to a purchase outside the game). Both tickets can cover a bit of hard to obtain items, with the Anniversary covering more. In fact, it might also cover (a bit of) closed items.

One particular example would be the Spearsting, which seems to be more of a collector's item than a player's item. Its value is its novelty over its oversized stinger. I don't mind if it became available again as a joke for support summons. Other than that, I am sure there are older unavailable summons/weapons to look out for, if anyone is willing to go onto a easter hunt. Items like Illuyanka, Queen Bee (she might be still useful!), Bahamut Unchained, from a Defense Order event. Also Milia from Order of the Lord collaboration event. Do you think that the anniversary ticket can get these items? I believe I remembered Milia, but couldn't be sure as I was solely focused on my team builds. I am sure I am missing more out there, but I am just going to wait for expert advice on this one.

You can't ticket event-exclusive weapons/characters/summons.
