| Despite coming from a long line of knights in sworn service to Irestill Kingdom, she lacked standing to inherit the family title, and so she was sent off to the castle to learn court etiquette in her teens. Queen Mugain took a liking to her crudeness and found her to be a diamond in the rough, and took her on as a personal attendant and warden. Elisheba respected Mugain's wishes above all else and even spoke up frequently against Connor—who was a magistrate at the time. She learned to be graceful and resourceful for Mugain's sake, and continued to do her proud after her passing by being a nursemaid to Heles and Seruel, eventually rising to the rank of royal chamberlain. She participated in the battle where Irestill Kingdom fell and witnessed King Connor's final moments. Nowadays, she tends to Scathacha's needs at Alster Island's Great Court and also takes care of Chulainn and Ferdia while living with them. As magnanimous a woman as she is, she shows her love for her son, Naoise, by being very stern with him—and he's turned out all the better for it. |
