Granblue Shodown - In Nature's Service - Episode 4

The crew reaches the heart of the miasma and confronts Amakusa, who praises (Captain) and Nakoruru for their sublime fighting spirits. Nakoruru refuses Amakusa's request to join him in destroying the world, and the final battle begins.

(Captain) and company finally arrive at the origin of the miasma.
Waiting for them is the unmistakable source of countless evil deeds, Shiro Tokisada Amakusa.
Amakusa: Heh heh heh... It has been too long, Nakoruru. I knew you were the right choice for this.
Amakusa: Oh? Who are those children behind you? I sense such powerful spirits from them... How considerate of you to offer them to me.
Amakusa: Join me in ushering this world into oblivion. What better way is there to make use of such powerful spirits than to work alongside Lord Ambrosia?
Amakusa: Do so, and I will deign to forgive your trespasses against me. Now come. Let chaos reign!
Nakoruru: I've heard enough of this nonsense, Amakusa! We're going to make sure you never get a chance to harm Mother Nature ever again!
Rimururu: Let's ice this jerk, Konru! Prepare to feel the wrath of nature!
Amakusa: Humph. What utter foolishness. In that case... Lord Ambrosia will happily accept your lives as tribute!
Amakusa: Allow me to teach you the true meaning of fear!

Granblue Shodown - In Nature's Service - Episode 4: Scene 2

To banish Amakusa for good, Nakoruru and Rimururu begin a dangerous prayer that may just cost them their lives. When the dust settles, Amakusa is defeated, both shrine maidens are safe, and the world is returned to peace.

Amakusa is a fierce foe indeed, but even he cannot stand up to the onslaught from Nakoruru and (Captain).
Amakusa: Rgh... Impossible... How can this... be...
Amakusa: God of darkness... I beseech you... offer me your blessing once more!
The crew believes Amakusa defeated, but he once again calls upon the power of his dark lord to unleash true evil.
He concentrates the evil energies within him, unleashing a final enraged onslaught on the crew.
Amakusa: Hyooorgh! May the fires of hell consume you!
Nakoruru: Ngh... He's strong. This is going to take everything I have...
Amakusa strikes at Nakoruru, who no longer has the strength to defend herself.
(Captain) senses the threat and attempts to leap to Nakoruru's defense but is too far away.
Nakoruru: It appears I'm finished... But I was always prepared for such a possibility!
With the afterlife looming ahead of her, Nakoruru begins to pray.
This isn't a prayer to ward off danger on a long journey. It's a last resort for when all other options have been exhausted.
Whoever utters the prayer becomes one with nature, gaining tremendous power but losing their physical form in the process.
Nakoruru began her journey fully committed to the possibility that she might have to use it in order to defeat Amakusa.
But she's not alone.
Rimururu: Sis, don't!
Nakoruru: Rimururu? What are you trying to do?
Rimururu: Are you planning on leaving me behind again, Sis?
Nakoruru: You understand already, don't you? Once I perform this prayer, I won't be coming ba—
Rimururu: I'm not a kid anymore! You're the one who told me that, weren't you?
Rimururu: But you always... always treat me like a child... Sniff... Sob...
Nakoruru realizes how thoughtless she's been.
Rimururu had always acted spoiled before, but now she was trying to stand on her own as a shrine maiden.
And yet Nakoruru couldn't put her faith in her little sister.
With a gentle smile, she wipes away Rimururu's tears.
Nakoruru: I'm sorry, Rimururu. This time... I'll give you the respect you deserve.
Nakoruru: Help me, Rimururu. Help me defeat Amakusa... together.
Rimururu: I will, Sis! I'm going to do my best to help you!
There's no longer any room for hesitation. With the grand will of mother nature behind them, the two shrine maidens begin their pure-hearted sacrificial prayer.
A fine mist begins to rise across the island, from every tree, every flower, and every rock.
The mist envelops the two of them. It appears first as a faint outline, but soon grows into a mass of spiritual power.
Nakoruru: Hooooh...
Nakoruru: Feel the wrath of nature!
Amakusa: Gwaaaargh...
Amakusa: How could I allow this to happen again... Nakoruru! Rimururu! (Captain)! How dare youuu!
Amakusa: But never forget. I will return... again and again... without fail...
Amakusa: To welcome you into the benediction of death! To usher the world into its final hours!
Lyria: Oh my gosh... Nakoruru! Rimururu! Are you okay?
Vyrn: Hang in there, you two!
Lyria and Vyrn rush over to the two shrine maidens.
Both of them are collapsed on the ground, exhausted after unleashing a tremendous amount of spiritual energy.
Nakoruru: Rgh...
Rimururu: Ungh...
Lyria: They're both okay! Thank goodness!
The prayer Nakoruru and Rimururu performed was intended to sacrifice their lives, but by some strange quirk of fate they both remain very much alive.
Vyrn: But why? You both said the prayer was strong enough to put you outta commission.
Lyria: Hmm... I can't say for sure, but maybe it was because you split the prayer's power between the two of you?
Lyria: Yeah! That must be it!
Vyrn: Huh? You sure about that, Lyria?
Kuroko: Victory! Well done!
Kuroko: The victors are... Nakoruru! Rimururu! And (Captain)!
Vyrn: Whoooa! There he is again!
Lyria: Look, Nakoruru! Rimururu! Oh no, they fainted!
Vyrn: Hold it right there, buddy! What's your deal? At least tell us your name!
The air is filled with the fragrance of flowers and the rustle of the trees. It is as if Mother Nature herself is putting on a celebration.
As the sky returns to its former, brilliant blue, the crew heads back to the ship to relax. After all they've earned it.
