After the meal, Yuel and Societte use their dances to purify Kou's legs further, allowing him to stand again. Just then, a strange creature giving off Ninetails's aura surfaces in the vicinity. It shrugs off the crew's attacks, focusing entirely on setting fire to the civilian houses.

After consuming the love-filled meal, the dark mark on Kou's legs disappear.

However, Yuel and Societte can still feel traces of Ninetails's power emanating from his legs.

The two girls start their dances in the hopes that it may weaken that power.

Yuel: A little more oomph now! Crimson Dance: Rinen!

Societte: Leave the treatment to your big sisters! Alabaster Dance: Tenka.

Their dances cause red and blue flames to gently embrace Kou as he sits in a chair.

Kou: ...

Once the flames subside, Kou slowly wobbles to his feet.

Kou: I did it! I stood up!

Lyria: Yay! You're cured!

Vyrn: Phew! Finally. Congrats, buddy!

Yuel: Mm-hm. That's super-duper.

Societte: Yuel! What's wrong—

Kou: Yuel! Societte!

Lyria: Are you two okay? Where does it hurt?

Yuel: Nah, just a little dizzy is all.

Societte: Yeah... My head is kind of woozy.

Societte: I think we used up more energy than we thought in the last dance trying to get rid of Ninetails's power.

Yuel: I can barely lift a finger. Ah well. Nothin' a quick nap can't fix.

Kou: I'm sorry you had to push yourselves so hard for me.

Yuel: Wouldja stop with the sorries? What did we teach ya last time?

Kou: ...?

Kou: Oh. Haha. Oh yeah.

Kou: Thank you, Sister Yuel. Sister Societte.

Societte: Kou? Did you just call us sister?

Kou: Urk! It kinda slipped out, but I didn't mean it like that.

Yuel: Oh really? Then how do ya mean it? We're all ears.

Kou: Gulp...

Yuel: Haha, you're too cute fer yer own good.

Yuel: Whew. I'm bushed. Gonna go change into somethin' more comfy.

Yuel: The Scarlet Robe keeps drainin' my energy.

Vyrn: I know you guys are close, but don't forget about us either.

Kou: I'd never forget about you guys! I appreciate (Captain) and everyone in the crew with all my heart!

Kou: Thank you, all. I owe you so much—

Kou is about to offer a bow of thanks when an explosion outside rocks the entire inn.

Mimaka Resident 1: What was that?

Mimaka Resident 2: Aaaaah!

Yuel: What the hay was that!

Societte: It can't be... How could we have missed this?

Kou: It's Ninetails's aura! And it's getting closer!

Vyrn: Seriously? Stay sharp, (Captain)!

(Captain) gives a curt nod, and they all sprint outside.

Burning Indigo: Nrrrgh...

Kou: What the? That's not Ninetails...

Societte: No, it's not, but it is giving off a strange aura that feels likes Ninetails.

Yuel: Let's leave that aside for now! It's makin' a huge mess out here! We gotta put a stop to that!

Lyria: Right! Let's go, (Captain)!

(Captain) rushes at the strange creature that is attacking innocent townspeople and slashes it.

Burning Indigo: Urrrgh?

Mimaka Resident 1: Back off! Stay the hell away from me!

Lyria: Nothing happened?

(Captain) definitely landed a strike on the creature, but it simply eyes the captain before going after other residents.

Burning Indigo: Nrrrgh!

The creature's assault continues unabated, the flames spewing from its body igniting the buildings of Mimaka.

Mimaka Resident 2: Agh! That's my house!

Societte: Get back! I'll put it out! Alabaster Dance!

Societte's cold flames smother the offending flames, putting them out.

Yuel: You go, Societte! As for that thing, it's only gonna get worse if we don't do somethin'!

Vyrn: I don't get it! It's totally ignoring us and going for innocent people and homes instead!

Lyria: The whole town will be up in flames if it doesn't stop.

Kou: That's not going to happen! (Captain)! Let's put it down!

Gripping the sword even tighter, (Captain) launches at the rampaging creature.
