Act 1: Girl in Blue - Chapter 29-54: Recap

Having some downtime, Lyria and Vyrn write in the journal that the Black Knight was secretly trying to restore Orchis back to normal, but Freesia, prime minister of the Erste Empire, put a stop to her plans. Meanwhile Freesia is hell-bent on rewriting history. The crew is now flying to the imperial capital of Agastia to prevent her from destroying the skies.

Lyria: Hmm... And then this happened...
Vyrn: Whoa, what're you doin' at a time like this?
Vyrn: We gotta get ready to leave for Agastia.
Lyria: Eep! Sorry! I was just...
Lyria: I wanted to fill in the journal while I still had the chance.
Lyria: I think it's going to be tough finding free time to write later on.
Vyrn: Hm... We're finally heading into Agastia, capital of the Erste Empire, so yeah...
Vyrn: Thinkin' 'bout it now, it feels like we've been flyin' forever, but it hasn't been that long at all...
Vyrn: We were tryin' to decide what to do next after hearin' the Black Knight had been arrested and was bein' held in Amalthea.
Lyria: In the end her arrest was all part of Freesia's plan.
Vyrn: The empire's chief advisor and the empire's prime minister—the Black Knight and Freesia—each had their own goals.
Lyria: The Black Knight's goal hasn't changed since she first made it years ago.
Lyria: She's been doing everything she can to get Orchis back to the way she used to be, and doing it all on her own.
Vyrn: That started way back when Erste was a kingdom instead of an empire.
Lyria: But while the Black Knight was being held, Freesia kidnapped Orchis.
Lyria: We went to Ravi Island to look for Orchis in Mephorash, the capital of the former Erste Kingdom.
Vyrn: The buildings in that city were ridiculously old. They've been there since before the Astrals came, no doubt about it.
Lyria: The city and the palace are full of memories for the Black Knight and Orchis.
Vyrn: Who'da thought Orchis had an Astral parent and a skydweller parent.
Vyrn: No wonder she has powers like yours. But learning about her past led to another issue...
Lyria: Mm... I'm back to square one about my own past...
Lyria: But that doesn't matter right now. I want to keep helping Orchis. I can't just do nothing.
Vyrn: Eventually we found out that Freesia and Orchis were actually in the Lumacie Archipelago.
Lyria: A primal beast with the power to change history, or even the world itself, was sealed there.
Lyria: Its name was Akasha, and Freesia wanted it.
Vyrn: She needed you and Orchis in order to activate Akasha.
Vyrn: She hated the Astrals so much that she wanted to literally erase them from history. Talk about crazy.
Vyrn: Somehow we managed to stop Akasha from activating, but...
Lyria: Freesia used dark essence to make Yggdrasil Malice.
Lyria: Rosetta stayed behind on the island to keep the power of Malice in check.
Lyria: I couldn't stop thinking it might be our last time seeing Rosetta.
Lyria: Thankfully, your power was the key to solving everything.
Vyrn: I had no idea I had that kind of power to be honest with you.
Lyria: Together with Lecia of the Crew of Enforcers, we fought to take back Amalthea from the empire.
Lyria: Then she gave us information that led us back to Zinkenstill.
Vyrn: My and (Captain)'s home was under attack, and I had to protect it.
Vyrn: That newfound determination helped me unlock my power. I was finally ready to face the past that I couldn't remember.
Lyria: Thanks to you, Yggdrasil returned to normal.
Lyria: And Rosetta rejoined our crew just like the good old days.
Vyrn: After all that, I still don't know what I am...
Vyrn: Why do I have the ability to suppress the power of the Astrals? What does it mean?
Lyria: It doesn't matter what powers you have, or what happened in your past. You'll always be Vyrn!
Vyrn: Hehe... When you put it that way, I can't help but laugh it off!
Vyrn: Well, that about brings us back to the present. The empire's up to something in Agastia.
Lyria: According to what the Black Knight said, there might be a clue about Orchis there too.
Lyria: I'm still not sure if restoring Orchis to her previous self is the right thing to do though...
Vyrn: Marching into the empire's headquarters is pretty much the final showdown.
Lyria: The empire and Freesia's dangerous plan spells doom for the whole sky.
Lyria: We definitely have to stop them.
Vyrn and Lyria, having gathered their thoughts, renew their determination for the decisive battle to come.
The crew are on their way to partake in a crucial battle that will alter their course.
