The Willful Horn
(Captain) and company step into the forest and run into a young girl holding a large horn. Mimlemel isn't one to say much, but she becomes fast friends with Lyria and joins the crew.
(Captain) and the crew explore a new island in search of a rare herb.
They find an unexpected surprise waiting for them at the entrance to a thick, dense forest.
???: ...
Lyria: Oh, hello there! What are you doing in a place like this?
???: Tootle-too!
Vyrn: Whoa, nice horn! And what a weird-lookin' stump.
???: Toot-toot!
Vyrn: I don't know what's going on, but it's kinda dangerous for a kid like you to be out here.
Lyria: Yes. Why don't you head back home before it gets dark?
???: Toot...
Vyrn: All right, be careful on your way back! See ya!
???: ...
The party bids farewell to the horn-wielding Harvin and ventures into the forest.
Vyrn: Agh, I give up. All these trees look exactly the same.
Lyria: Hmm... We came from over here, so let's try heading over there.
Vyrn: Huh? Wait, I thought we just came from over there!
???: Wrong.
Lyria: Huh? It's that girl from before.
Vyrn: Oh yeah! Do you think she was following us?
???: Are you lost? Too-too-tootle!
Vyrn: Ugh... I guess we are, but you don't have to make fun of us with your horn!
???: Tootle-too!
Vyrn: Hey! Wait! She went off by herself!
Lyria: Maybe she wants us to follow her! Let's go after her, (Captain)!
???: Tootle-tootle-too, tootle-too!
Vyrn: Hey, stumpy! What do you want? Where are you taking us?
???: Not stumpy. Mimlemel.
Vyrn: Your name's Mimlemel?
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
Lyria: Do you live in the forest, Mimlemel?
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
Lyria: That sure is a big horn! Can I hear you play something?
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
Lyria: Lalala... Shalala...
Lyria sings along merrily with Mimlemel's melodies.
Mimlemel and Lyria hit it off through the power of music.
Lyria: Heehee! You're a wonderful musician!
Lyria: I was really nervous at being lost in the woods, but now I'm feeling much better—huh?
Lyria: Look, (Captain)! It's the herb we were searching for!
Vyrn: No way! Did you know we were looking for that?
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
Vyrn: Awesome! Thanks for showing us the way! You really got us out of a jam!
The herb is in their hands now thanks to Mimlemel's guidance.
With their objective completed, it's almost time to say goodbye to Mimlemel.
Lyria: Thank you so much, Mimlemel! It looks like we'll be able to make it back to the airship thanks to you.
Vyrn: Still, I can't believe someone as small as you lives alone in a forest like this!
Mimlemel: Toot...
Lyria: Goodbye, Mimlemel! I feel sad leaving you, but we have to go now.
Vyrn: Hehe, thanks again! We'll see you again someday!
Mimlemel: Toot...
After saying their good-byes, the crew sets forth for the next island.
They're stopped just as they're about to take off.
Vyrn: Don't look now, (Captain), but she followed us again.
Mimlemel: Tootle-too! Too-too-Tootle!
Vyrn: Uh... what can we do ya for?
Vyrn: Maybe there's a tour guide fee that we gotta pay.
Mimlemel: Not really.
Lyria: No, that's not it... I think she just wants to join us!
Mimlemel: Tootle-tootle-too!
Vyrn: What? Hey, we're skyfarers, you know!
Vyrn: We fight monsters and primal beasts and other crazy things!
Vyrn: Do you get it? A little kid like you—
Mimlemel: Too-too-tootle!
Choose: We were looking for a musician.
Choose: You seem to have a mysterious power.
Vyrn: Are you serious?
Mimlemel: Nice.
Lyria: Yay! Mimlemel's joining our crew!
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
Lyria: It's nice to have you, Mimlemel! I can't wait to hear more of your music!
Mimlemel: And I want to hear you sing again. Tootle-too!
The airship finally takes off after Mimlemel is welcomed aboard.
Perhaps one day the crew will discover Mimlemel's secret power.
