It turns out that Siegfried had been frozen by Aglovale's ice magic. Aglovale explains that he had been in the area investigating the leyline and offers to join (Captain) in fighting Siegfried. As the reinvigorated White Dragons challenge Gunther, Lancelot and Percival begin formulating a strategy to save Siegfried.

Moments before Siegfried can strike, his body is frozen over.

Gunther: What! What happened!

Percival: Someone froze him with ice magic!

???: It's rather sad to see you all standing here like a row of dominoes waiting to be toppled.

Percival: Aglovale!

Lancelot: Why are you here?

Nobody can contain their astonishment at this new arrival.

Aglovale not in crew

The man's name is Aglovale, and he serves as the current king of Wales. He is also Percival's older brother.

Aglovale: What? Is it really so surprising that we came to check on our findings?

Gunther: Damn you! I know that ice magic. You're Aglovale of Wales!

Aglovale: The one and only.

Gunther: Why did you save these idiots!

Aglovale: Hah... Save? Don't make me laugh, scum.

Aglovale: I just happened upon this amusing display and decided to join in on the festivities.

Vyrn: You just happened upon us after writin' that letter, huh?

Lyria: Hehe... It's kind of reassuring to see him act the same as always.

At that moment, a squadron of out-of-breath troops come running up behind Aglovale.

Wales Soldier 1: Huff... Huff...
King Aglovale!

Wales Soldier 2: Your Majesty, it's quite troubling for you to rush off on your own!

Aglovale: Hmph. My apologies.

Aglovale: However, you'll only get in my way. Stand back.

Wales Soldiers: Yes, Your Majesty!

His own troops taken care of, Aglovale turns to the rest of the group.

Aglovale: Especially you lot. What happened to that strength you showed when we fought? Or was that all a stroke of luck?

Aglovale: Percival, I expected better of you. Hesitating because he was once your superior officer is unbecoming.

Percival: I wasn't—

Aglovale: Lancelot. You're the leader of a knightly order tasked with protecting your country, are you not? Then do your job and eliminate all threats to your people.

Lancelot: Urk...

Aglovale: And you, (Captain).

Aglovale: You should put Siegfried out of his misery before he shames himself any further.

1. I refuse!

Choose: I refuse!

Aglovale: Heh. I see you haven't changed your softhearted ways.

Aglovale: But enough of that. Shall we put on a show?

Siegfried: Groooaaar!

Siegfried howls with anger as he finally escapes his icy prison.

Gunther: Y-you did it, Siegfried! Now go! Kill them all!

Aglovale: Siegfried...

Aglovale: (I don't know what happened to you, but I refuse to stand by and watch this pitiful display.)

Aglovale: Lancelot, Percival. Figure something out while I hold him back.

Percival: U-understood!

Lancelot: Thank you for your help!

Aglovale: (Captain), would you mind assisting me?

1. Not at all!

Choose: Not at all!

Vyrn: Okay, (Captain)! Let's do this!

Lyria: Aglovale! We'll help too!

Aglovale: Heh... You vassals are as lively as ever.

Gunther: Aglovale! You're an idiot if you think you can do anything here!

Before Gunther can arrogantly boast any further, a swarm of White Dragon knights charge directly at him.

White Dragon 1: Our leaders are doing their best!

White Dragon 2: So we've gotta do what we can too!

White Dragon 1: We'll be your opponents, Gunther!

White Dragon 2: Captain Lancelot! We're counting on you!

Lancelot: You have my thanks!

Aglovale: Hmph.

Aglovale: (These knights are more spirited than I gave them credit for, coming back from such low morale.)

With that thought, Aglovale calmly approaches Siegfried's menacing form.

Aglovale: Well, I've kept you waiting long enough.

Siegfried: Grrr...

Aglovale: Shall we play together again for old times' sake?

Siegfried: Groooar!
