As a swarm of strange creatures come upon (Captain) and company again, Michael explains that the large archangel among the lesser archangels serves as their control tower. She carves open a path to it with her halberd, letting (Captain) go in for the kill.
(Captain) and company defeat the strange creatures, but more simply take their place.

Vyrn: Huff... Puff... Darn it! Where are they coming from?
Lyria: Ngh... I hope Aliza and Stan are okay...
Io: Hey, Michael! What are these things? Don't they work for you or something?
Michael: More accurately speaking they submit only to the supreme primarch. In a broader sense they are lesser archangels.
Io: I don't get it! In other words they're the lowest level archangels?
Michael: Humph. Yes, that would suffice.

Michael unleashes a wave of fiery fury that incinerates every enemy in its path.

She then points her halberd at a new incoming group of enemies.
Michael: You. The one called (Captain).
Michael: Do you see that mid-level archangel down there? Think of him as the sovereign of these pawns.
Michael: He is the pillar of control. Crush it. I shall cut a path forward for you.
Michael: Haaaa!
Lyria: Michael! Even with your severe injuries, you...
Io: Yeah. She acts tough, but we've got to do our part too!
Vyrn: All right, now's our chance! We're in the clear once we get past that huge halo!
Lyria: Okay! Let's go, (Captain)!
