  • Buffs

  • Debuffs

Attack and Defense Down are capped at 50%.
  • Single
Skills that buff/debuff one attribute. For example "Cut to a foe's DEF", "Hit to ATK for X".
Only one single effect can be active at a time. Stronger effects overwrite weaker ones. If you try to apply a weaker effect you'll get a "Miss" message.
Single effects can applied together with dual effects.
  • Dual
Skills that buff/debuff two attributes at once. For example "Hit to ATK and DEF for X" or "Boost to ATK and DEF for X".
Only one dual effect can be active at a time. Stronger effects overwrite weaker ones. If you try to apply a weaker effect you'll get a "Miss" message.
Dual effects can applied together with single effects.
Note that there are exceptions where instead of being dual the effects are single + single.
  • Unique
Some skill effects exist outside the standard Skill / Summon / Element + Single / Dual rules.
These skills can usually be applied together with all other buffs and debuffs.
However, there are exceptions and even occasional bugs that prevent some effects from being applied at the same time.
  • Source
Skills differ based on the source. There are Skill, Summon / C.A., Element and Unique.
Skill refers to player and ally skills.
Summon refers to Summon Call skills.
C.A refers to Weapon Charge Attack skills
Element refers to Skill and Summon effects that are Element specific, such as Status FireAtkUp.pngFire ATK UpFire ATK is boosted

Effect stacking

Multiple effects of the same source and side can't be applied at the same time.
Stronger effects will overwrite weaker ones and weaker effects will "Miss" or have "No effect".

Damage Cut reducing damage taken for all elements.
Warning! Does not work for Plain Damage!

  • Murgleis "Rigens +" (15% unique? charge attack) + Athena (30% single summon) = Both effects apply. In general DMG Cut C.A. stack with Summons.

Overwriting effects

Stronger or equally strong effects of the same type and source will overwrite each other.
If you overwrite an effect with an equally strong effect the duration will be overwrittenVerification needed. too (not extended).

ATK Down / DEF Down are capped at 50%

If you apply Anti-Reversal + (30% single skill) + Miserable Mist (25% dual skill) + Odin (20% single summon) you'll reach a total of 75% Status DefenseDown.pngDEF DownDEF is lowered
. However, all Defense Down effects together still can't surpass 50% so it'll be rounded down to 50%.
Some skills and abilities may give Status DefenseUp.pngDEF UpDEF is boosted
(note, not DMG Cut). These are simply added to the formula. As an example, in Unite and Fight the Behemoth type enemies have a 20% Status DefenseUp.png20% DEF UpDEF is boosted
Strength: 20%
, so if you take the debuffs above at -75% DEF Down + 20% DEF Up = 55% DEF Down, you'll still hit the 50% DEF Down cap.

Again, notice that Damage Cut effects are not part of the ATK Up / DEF Up / ATK Down / DEF Down formula.
