What should I farm from Sidestories?

• Completing each chapter of a sidestory awards Crystal ×50 on first-time completion. Read through all chapters for crystals!
• Each sidestory has three Premium Draw Ticket in its respective Treasure Trade shop.
  • If needed, Treasure Trade shops also have Half Elixir, Soul Berry, and CP.
• Each sidestory has at least one SSR weapon or SSR summon.

Which ones first?

• Sidestories with SSRs to help fill out your teams. While some of them may be replaced later, many are serviceable at all ranks and some have niche use even in end-game content.
• What Makes the Sky Blue for Lyria (Event) and a free Bahamut Weapon.
• Sidestories with 4★ EX-skill Weapons if you are missing EX-skill weapons in any of your grids.

NOTE: Paradise Lost rewards a Summon Cradle that can be redeemed for a Sunlight Stone or a special Demi Optimus summon.
It is strongly recommended that you KEEP your Cradle until later.
This sidestory affords a very rare (and free!) opportunity to obtain a summon that can completely change your playstyle for an element, so it is best to wait until you have the experience to decide whether or not you want to capitalize on that opportunity.

All SR characters available in sidestories should be recruited, as each provides free crystals through Fate Episodes. Most of them should be considered filler until a better character can be recruited, but a few notable SR characters that can be used even in mid and late-game are listed below.

Notable Weapons

Due to how the Damage Formula works, most grids want at least one EX weapon. Several are freely available from sidestories and can be used as filler until better options are available. Weapons with a 4★ uncap are preferred due to higher maximum stats and skill levels.

Note that one Dark Urn is required to uncap this summon to 4★. These can be difficult for players to obtain prior to unlocking the Impossible Summon raids at Rank 101.
Hekatonkheir	The Sleeping Island Giant	Niche use due to 30% Dark CutDark DMG is cut 30% Dark Damage Cut.. Can be used if Onyx Carbuncle unavailable to help achieve 100% Dark damage cut.
