Sunstone Priority List[edit]

Sunstones are a valuable, limited resource, and this page exists to help players decide where best to spend them. This is NOT intended to be a general tier list of summons. Despite being excellent summons, many summons such as Shiva see minimal benefit from having a Sunstone used on them and are therefore lower priority.

Can Ticket
Can Ticket: This summon is available in the Surprise Special Draw Set.
Can't Ticket: This summon is not available.
Limited: This summon is available only in Surprise Special Draw Sets that allow choosing from limited releases (ie. 2019 Anniversary Surprise Set).

Multi Use
Multi Use: This summon can be called multiple times per battle.
One Use: This summon can only be called once per battle.

Max Uncap
Max uncap level of this summon.

Save Copies
Save: Copies of this summon should be kept separate. In general, non-ticketable summons with no 4★ should be kept in case of a powerful 4★ effect.

Summons that are unconditionally great and should be uncapped when possible. Usable in all teams and elements due to call and/or aura.

Summons that are good for specific elements or teams. These should be uncapped eventually due to call and/or aura, but are not a priority unless focusing on a specific team or element.

Arcarum Damage Summons[edit]

  • Each of these summons are free and obtainable from Arcarum. Only 1 copy can be obtained.
  • Each summon provides both increased damage AND increased damage cap for their respective elements.
  • Each summon requires 1 Sunstone to upgrade from the 3★ SR to the 3★ SSR step.

Call: Niche. Players can have a buffer (such as Grand Zooey) in the 4th slot, use their buffs, then call Death to replace the buffer with an attacker.

Primarch Series Summons[edit]

  • Each of these summons have a sub-aura that provides increased damage cap for their respective elements.
  • These summons DO NOT increase your damage dealt. If you are not already at the damage cap, uncapping these summons does not benefit you other than providing increased stats.
  • Multiple sub-summon auras DO NOT stack. Equipping multiple is useful only for the call.

Epic Series Summons[edit]

  • Commonly known as "SSR Carbuncles" or "Superbuncles", these summons are useful in a variety of fights due to their shorter initial cooldown and higher values when compared to the SR Carbuncles, but are lower priority Sunstone targets due to their SR versions being much more accessible.

Sunstone: Useful but not a priority as Bonito is easy to find as a support summon. Owning one is beneficial for applying a fast summon skin and for modes like Arcarum where friend summons are unavailable. Sunstone ONLY if you have Kengo unlocked AND can 4★ it. Full water summons is not required unless you are relying on the aura effect.

Special Mention: Primal Summons[edit]

The 'Optimus' and 'Demi Optimus' series summons are required for players who wish to build a Primal weapon grid. These summons are therefore top priority for players who wish to build a Primal grid, and should not be uncapped at all otherwise.

For players not looking to build a Primal grid, it is still recommended to keep these summons instead of reducing them, as they cannot be ticketed and players may wish to build a Primal grid in the future.

As a note, Demi Optimus summons will refund the Sunstones used to upgrade them when reduced, so investing in them and then drawing the true Optimus summon later is not entirely downside. (The 0★ version does not give a Sunstone when reduced.)
