This is a guide for clearing the Beelzebub Raid. I was inspired by Diamonit's [Dark Rapture HL guide]. Bubz is easier than Faa-san, but preparing for Bubz can feel more overwhelming because you aren't necessarily boxed into as many specific requirements. This guide is here to help you understand the raid, prepare for it, and clear it consistently.

I’ll be abbreviating Beelzebub as “Bubz” for most of this guide just to make things easier for me.

I probably made lots of silly mistakes, but I'll fix them if I or someone else catches them. Hope the guide is helpful or at least entertaining!

Hard Requirements

Clear Prerequisites

All Prerequisites must be cleared in order to host Bubz.

Win within Turn Limit

Bubz has an effective turn limit. When any player in the raid reaches the turn limit, Bubz will ready the King's ReligionKnocks out all allies for all members of the raid.

Survive

As with every battle, you’re expected to survive in order to clear the raid. Your general goal this raid is to build as much Fated Chain Gauge as possible while delaying or canceling as many Special Attacks as possible.

Phases

There are a few different phases of the raid, divided based on how you play in each of them.

Battle System 2.0

This raid uses the Battle System 2.0. The most important things to know about in this system are Fated Chains and Guarding.

Fated Chains are particularly important against Bubz because of all the special attacks that require activating a Fated Chain to cancel them (which is all of them after 50%). Every time an ally uses an ougiAka "charge attack" or "special attack", the Fated Chain Gauge will fill 10%, with a bonus based on the level of Chain Burst. Due to the importance of building Fated Chain to cancel special attacks, sometimes it can be more efficient to hold your charge attacks until you can Chain Burst (ideally Full ChainFour or more ougis at once) to build the most FC Gauge as fast as possible.

Guarding is the other important mechanic in V2 raids. If you tap the OFF button under a character's portrait so that it displays ON, your character will not be able to normal attack or charge attack that turn, but will take 90% reduced damage1000% boost to DEF that turn. The most common use for Guard is to mitigate the damage of a special attack such as ChaoscaliberMassive random-element damage to all allies.

When you enter the raid, there are four main things you'll need to think about other than building Fated Chain Gauge and avoiding special attacks. They are:

To clear Bubz consistently, you must be able to consistently clear the 100% trigger (ChaoscaliberMassive random-element damage to all allies.

Label Element Dark.png has many powerful options. A higher rank isn't strictly better than a lower rank, but instead points to how generally powerful they are. For example, Npc s 3040092000 01.jpg Zooey (Grand) is core for enmity teams, but would be useless to actively harmful for stamina teams. I added another table to give an idea of the style of team composition that they would fit into. I divide Dark teams into three general styles of team compositions: Stamina, Enmity, and Ougi (Kengo). Each of them are currently viable. Ougi/Kengo teams are particularly good against Bubz because of how many cancel conditions require Fated Chains.
