The healing amounts are different. What now? First I tried checking how much is the heal strength without the healing boost with the following formula:

HealAmount / ((1 + HealingBoost) * MaxHP) = HealAmount / (1.5 * MaxHP)

Which yields:

Translating it, we get:

  • Single cast of 476 damage heals for ~0.29% of max HP
  • Double cast totaling 1010 damage heals for ~1.25% of max HP
  • Double cast totaling 620 damage heals for ~0.76% of max HP

From just these, I don't have any idea on why the numbers are so different and I'm not seeing a pattern, but when you consider that tests 2 and 3 use Ability Indominus.png IndominusFire damage to a foe (Damage cap: ~510,000).

(0.625 - 0.29) / (1010 - 476) ~= 0.0006273
(0.625 - 0.38) / (1010 - 620) ~= 0.0006282
(0.38  - 0.29) / (620  - 476) ~= 0.0006250

also does not heal if it does not deal damage so it can be said as 0 damage = 0 heal. Adding that to the points we get:

(0.625 - 0) / (1010 - 0) ~= 0.0006188
(0.38  - 0) / (620  - 0) ~= 0.0006129
(0.29  - 0) / (476  - 0) ~= 0.0006092

It could be said that the amount healed grows at a rate of ~0.06% of max HP per total damage dealt translating to:

HealAmount = 0.0006 * DamageDealt

There seems to be some soft-capping mechanic to the healing amount which means that the approximation only works for low damage values.

Further Testing

For now, I am going to try testing the following:

  1. Proving the scenario in the Example section
  2. Whether the number of hits matter to the healing amount or only the total damage
    • Can be tested by making 1 cast miss and the other hit.

The Numbers

Considering that Fraux has a base heal cap of 2000, we can "try to get" the healing cap increase by dividing by 2000:

(3225 / 2000) - 1= .6125 (61.25%)

and then subtract it by the healing boost she already has

0.6125 - 0.5 = 0.1125

does this mean that it has a base healing cap boost of 11.25%? Let us try using Yuel's unboosted heal amounts: 1613 and 3225 (it is the same as Fraux's)

(1613 / 1500) - 1 = 0.0753333
(3225 / 1500) - 1 (-1) = 1.15 - 1 = 0.15

So the numbers don't match up so it is not 11.25%. But what now? They are showing different values. But they are only showing different values if we assume that Grid Healing Cap Boost is additive with Ring, EMP, and Buff Healing Cap Boosts! If we assume that grid boost is multiplicative instead we get:

Fraux => (3225 / 3000) - 1 = 0.075
Yuel1 => (1613 / 1500) - 1 = 0.0753333
Yuel2 => (3225 / 3000) - 1 = 0.075

Now it is consistently 7.5%! But since Yuel1 is a bit of a problem, we can show that it is simply a rounding error by doing it in reverse (or rather, proper order):

1500 * (1 + 0.075) = 1612.5 => Rounded off to 1613

With this, we can say the base healing cap boost of a SL15 Small Healing Cap Boost (Normal) is 7.5%

The Weird Stuff

There are 2 weird stuff with the numbers I gave above. The more noticeable one is the fact that the healing numbers of Demi-Agni x Agni and Agni x Agni are the same. This means one is pretending to be the other, but we don't know who. In order to find out we can use math again by trying to find out the multiplier used:

 AgniAgni (280%) Yuel1 = 1500 * (1 + 0.075*3.8) = 1927.5
 DemiAgni (270%) Yuel1 = 1500 * (1 + 0.075*3.7) = 1916.25

With rounding off, we can say that they both took a 3.8 multiplier, or they are both counted as Agni x Agni.

YES! So Demi Agni has the same boost as Agni? Well, not quite. Consider the Single Summon scenarios:

Demi (130%) Fraux = 2000 * 1.5 * (1 + 0.075*2.3) = 3517.5
Agni (140%) Fraux = 2000 * 1.5 * (1 + 0.075*2.4) = 3540

But the data taken showed 3525, which is neither of the two. This is the 2nd weird thing about it. It appears that a single Demi-Agni is treated as 133.3333333% boost FOR HEALING CAP

They now yield the same values as the test data.

Conclusions

  1. Healing Cap Boosting Weapon Skills are multiplicative with other Healing Cap Boosts
  2. Normal SL15 Small Healing boosts Healing cap by 7.5%

The ff are either the fault of CyCodes or a mystery formula that we haven't uncovered yet:

  1. A single Demi summon uses a 2.3 + (1/30) multiplier when boosting Healing Cap
  2. Demi x Optimus has the same multipler as Optimus x Optimus when boosting Healing Cap (3.8)
  3. A single Optimus summon is normal. It boosts with a multiplier of 2.4

SL10 Starblaze Rings

Single Demi Fraux heals for 3361

3570 / 3000 = 1.19 => 19/3.8 = 5%
3000 * (1 + 0.05 * 2.3) = 3345
3000 * (1 + 0.05 * 2.33) = 2349.5
3000 * (1 + 0.05 * 2.333333) = 2349.99995
3000 * (1 + 0.05 * 2.4) = 3360

Once again, single demi is being weird with healing cap... Now its as if it was even higher than an actual Agni since a 2.4 is still lower than the actual heal. Well it might be a round-off error too since python actually tells me that 2.4 yields 3360.00000000005 but a real calculator tells me 3360 flat.

Conclusion

  1. Single demi is really weird and has no consistency... There must be a formula there or CyCode is just real bad.

I cannot conclude anything since Demi is weird so I dont feel safe and the math doesnt add up

I give up. But Yuel2 does show that only the cap is boosted since she only healed for Zooey's 30% hp (20% + 50% of 20%)
