Regarding Lily Skill 2 Edit
Restrictions on user/non-user data contributions?
Hello, I'd like to know whether there are restrictions for contributions from registered users vs. non-registered users, or if there is some special page where I can clear this doubt? I'd appreciate it.
Certain protected pages require a registered account that's at least 24 hours old. Very few pages have this kind of protection in place, but they are protected for deliberate reasons. Otherwise, wiki pages can be edited by anyone.
Registered or non-registered, all edits and editors are subject to the same rules and quality standards.
I see, thanks for the info.
Hi, i've just uploaded 3 images, is there any way to delete one or them all ? PS : I've tried to search for it, it tell me to find images log and i can't seem to find it
Normal users can't delete images, that'd be too dangerous for the wiki.
Fastest way to get them removed would be to join wiki server and ask the admins to delete them.
I see, tyvm
Double/triple quotation marks
The multiple quotation marks were in the Japanese source; I think they're meant to emphasize that multiple people are saying the same thing. I don't know, Japanese orthography is weird.
Anyway, I had finished the translation, but then the wiki ate it. Too angry about losing an hour and a half of work to redo it right now, but for when I do: some of the lines differ depending on the pose selected-- so if the party portrait is of Mina, she'll say her line, etc. I noted this in the notes section-- "If Mina's pose is selected," or something like that. Yes/no?
Also, the way they do normal attacks is weird. I'll just follow the JP wiki's format, and then I'll leave it to you to decide what looks best.
On fandom, if you're editing an outdated version of a page and try to process with an edit, you are showed difference between your edit and the new version of the page. Mediawiki should have had something like that too, though it never happened to me so I can't confirm. Next time it happens, try to scroll down the page and see if there's any new window like that. I also recommend that you do what other people do already aka save your edit to notepad or somewhere else so that it won't get lost.
As for formatting:
- one quotation mark should be used at max.
- for the portrait thing, replace "pose" with "battle pose", otherwise it's ok for now.
I'll look into it later if necessary.
Currently doing Grea's banter with Ann. I'm doing it with the character name in bold, quote on the same line, no quotation marks in the English version. This is in keeping with the style used for https://gbf.wiki/Sapphire_Dance:_Gentiana Is this how you want it done? Should entries done a while ago, like Beatrix's, be brought up to the new style?
It's not really "new". A few different formatting ways were used on the wiki and I've been changing them all to one that's the easiest to read, also to achieve some consistency. But yes, that's how it should look like. Drang's banter with Sturm or Veight's banter with Vania are good examples. I'm still not done with the template so not everything can be hidden but try to hide all unused fields.
Related note: didn't see until just now that you already started on a template for raid boss voice lines. Do you think that would work better than what I've tried to kludge together for e.g. Medusa?
Not really, that was more of a test and I don't really like how it looks like (talking about my table). Will redo it... one day, once I'm done with other stuff.
Re: Tier List
If there are more ways I can make my character synopses better, by all means let me know. The whole point is to help people.
Reading gamewith's points is what I generally do before writing anything.
Re: Character Tier List
I kinda removed
But needs to be Lvl 100 to unlock her full potential.
from Yuel since it is kinda true for all FLB SSRs
Also, the reason for dipping a bit deeper into her synergies is due to them being one of the biggest reasons for her having a high rating.
She synergies well with a lot of characters.
This list is generally meant to help not experienced players and if you mention that she's working well with x and y then there'll be a lot of people that will considering anyone but x and y to be trash pairing.
And I don't agree with your 1st statement, Silva, Charlotta, Lancelot, and Lennah are ones I used before and after 5* uncapping them and the difference was minimal which isn't feeling I shared with Yuel as she quickly became outperformed by other characters I had which was only changed with the 5*.
Coming back to the new player thing, you can't expect them to have shiva or esser. Getting the latter can take a while and again, saying that someone works the best with *insert character that can take months to farm or is from a limited gala* is not how character's should be represented.
As far as I've been checking gamewith notes, synergy with other characters is not something that was ever mentioned. Another character would be only mentioned if it was required for a skill to work.
They sometimes mention that a character is better/worse in longer/shorter fights or in specific grids but I have yet to see them talking about specific character synergy in these small notes.
If you think that leaving a note about synchronization with other characters would be good, a lot better choice would be describing that character and then eventually dropping their name rather than only mentioning their name since it will give some sort of idea who could replace them in case the player lacks said another character but has someone similar.
I disagree with Silva and Lennah not needing Lv100, in my experience Silva's sk4 deals a lot of her damage and that Lennah's revive is the most reliable revive outside of MC's revive thus it gives her a lot of value.
I can't speak much for Lancelot and Charlotta since I've never used them but from what I'm seeing in the wiki, Lancelot would improve a lot with Lv100. Charlotta's is a bit underwhelming though.
As for the shiva or esser thing, ok I accept that. It could be generalized into
High one-foe attack damage (which is what is placed inside currently). I picked shiva and esser specifically since they're the top dogs, yuel would definitely synergize with a lot of other chars, especially those that have their own assassins or consistently deals high damage. So I'm sorry if that's how it appeared.
You don't need revive if you just don't die. >.>
Coming back to the new player thing, you can't expect them to never die.
A revive on 20 turn long cd is prob not going to help them if they're dying easily and need to rely on it.
In my beginner days I didn't really had this problem but that was probably because I knew my own limits.
Not like that matters tho.
And yeah, I prefer generalization.
With time a lot more characters will be added and they could fit into specific roles previously reserved for selected few (or just give players more options to choose from). If we add a broad definition instead of writing down the characters that fit into it, the notes won't need to be changed every time someone new shows up.
Even if it was a 20 turn cooldown, it still allows them to revive a core member of the team, someone like the MC. It helps to put a band-aid on accidents that can happen. There is also really no telling what someone's limit is without trying, only estimates. Overestimating would simply lead to overconfidence and simply getting wiped. Underestimation would slow down progress in something that could've been done if they just tried. That is a bit of a segway but that revive really will do a lot and is part of lennah's "full potential" as support.
Yes I understood the reason for generalization and I just wanted to add some examples.
Korwa and エッジー
The same thought crossed my mind, but it seemed like a bit of a stretch for a simple typo, going from エッチ to エッジー (not just the diacritical, but also the elongation). While I can't find the word in the usual JP-EN dictionaries, online Japanese dictionaries (like https://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/jn/265141/meaning/m0u/ ) seem to use it in the sense of cutting-edge rather than transgressive or offensive; like tension/テンション, this seems to be a case where the Japanese usage is slightly different from the original English usage.
You can check andira emp in gamewith bro just put 3stars in support skill
Do not delete template fields without good reason
Hello. Thank you for contributing to the wiki.
However, I must notify you that you've been deleting fields from templates for no discernible reason. I understand that you are new here and the nuances of templates is complicated. You are not expected to know all templates, but please do not delete template fields simply because you don't understand them.
I'm sorry about that images for battles but I didn't delete anything from trophies template, I copied it from lets hang event page since I didn't know where to get templete and I knew that said story had trophies on its page.
