Big Bad Shadow is an April Fool's event. It lasts for only 24 hours. This event first appeared in 2017.

For this year's event iteration, a free rhythm game based app, based on BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment's popular arcade rhythm game, Taiko no Tatsujin (太鼓の達人), called Oira (オイラ), which is also Granblue Fantasy's April Fools game, is playable throughout the event.

Fight me to collect darkness spheres and trade them for the ridiculously amazing Dragon Bar V weapon. Not to mention the Katalina, Jin, and Ferry outfits. Oh, but there's more! You can also get the Rosetta, Lancelot, and Cagliostro outfits too!

You wanna know my max power level? Let's just say it's over 9000. Don't just take my word for it. See for yourself in Blackhole battles, but you'd better be ready for what's coming. In my blackhole don't expect to find anything other than the scent of victory. Come at me, bro!

Darkness spheres disappear at 2:59 p.m., May 1, 2018 (JST), so be sure to trade 'em in before then.

Notable Rewards

• This event may be the only chance to obtain the Katalina?, Ferry?, Jin?, Sir Chainedalot, Rosey, and Cagliosled outfits.
• Dragon Bar V has a skill that can boost drop rate. Obtaining it should be your first priority.
• Vy-Ball only drops from the Blackhole battle, but seemingly has no use. If you're an item collector, this might be the only time to obtain one.
• Trophies are available in this event and awards the usual Crystals.
• Note that there is no special reward for clearing the Blackhole battle aside from a Vy-Ball.
