Hero's Return/History is a story event. A loyalty character joins you, and progressing through the story unlocks quests and bosses.

By a foolish king's command,
the pact with the dragon is broken.
Monsters flood the land,
and the kingdom falls in ruin.

A pilgrimage ends for a repentant knight.
He must face his past, and
onto his home soil he will alight.

For the people who long for peace,
can the knight and the dragon take a stand,
and make the violence cease?

For new players

• Complete each chapter, quest, and raid boss; each awards Crystal ×50 on first-time completion.
• Complete the daily mission every day.
• Fill the event character's loyalty bar to keep him permanently.
• Purchase the 20× Half-Elixirs; they provide much more AP than is needed farm them.
• Purchase the 50× Soul Berries.
• Earn trophies for additional Crystals.

Notable Rewards

• Damascus Crystals are a good long-term investment for creating Damascus Ingots to uncap SSR weapons. Obtaining all three is recommended if AP/Elixir consumption is not a concern.
• Majestic Royal Pole can be a decent filler while you develop your Wind grid. For those who want to try Wind Mystic, this is worth getting as Wind element Staff weapons are either hard to farm (such as Promise) or require much more investment (such as Five-Soul Staff Ventus) than this. Note that, as an older weapon, this weapon has a Normal Weapon Skill instead of an EX skill.
• Emerald Spear and Emerald Claw are not good SR weapons and are only good as skill fodder.
• Deirdre is completely outclassed by Anat, which provides a bigger Elemental ATK boost and is obtainable from the casino.
