| These troops undergo the grueling tutelage of Drill Sergeant Ilsa on a daily basis. Just like Zeta and Vaseraga once did before them, they are cadets training to hunt primal beasts alone. Each one was recruited specifically by the Society for his or her potential aptitude to wield an excavated weapon. But only the best among them will be selected to become one of these contractors. Any remaining soldiers have two choices: leave the Society or become the drill sergeant's helper. However, a unit that wields standard, mass-produced weapons was formed recently—meaning even non-contractor forces could potentially see frontline combat. |
