The Other Side of the Sky is a story event.

This event is part of the Mysteria Academy of Magic series. Listed in order of premiere:

Mysteria Academy and the surrounding town
narrowly escaped destruction by the forces of the Otherworld.
The experience has taken its toll
on some of the more vulnerable students.

A group of troubled young men take solace
in their love for magical hybrid vehicles known as
gearcycles—their "beasts."

They call themselves the Red Wings.
All they need is their beasts, their friends,
and the courage to stand their ground,
come what may.

For new players

• Complete each chapter, quest, and raid boss; each awards Crystal ×50 on first-time completion.
• Obtain as many
  
  Over Mastery RingsOver Mastery Rings
  • Coronation Ring
  • Lineage Ring
  • Intricacy Ring
  as you reasonably can from badge, honor, and token rewards.
• Earn trophies for additional Crystals.
• Damascus Crystals are a good long-term investment given their scarcity outside of events. Obtaining all three (and the Damascus Grain) is recommended if AP/Elixir consumption is not a concern.
• Complete the daily mission every day.

Notable Rewards

• Aluminum Bat is a mostly unremarkable Wind EX weapon (although Sabre typing makes it equippable for several useful classes for new players). A Sword Master or Glorybringer, however, can Awaken the weapon to deal substantial Plain damage to all foes. This makes it an incredible weapon for slime farming (behind only Disparia and Rise of Justice), on a weapon easily farmable for free. Keeping at least one copy should be a priority for every player.
• Gearcycle is a very standard event summon, outclassed by other farmable summons although the call effect's Wind ATK Up is useful.
