Heiliges Schwert Echo

Tried to do the math and the result is not exactly 23% nor it's 24%. Putting it in 24% is wrong because IMO, it's the above of the exact value. https://i.imgur.com/7UzieGH.png

Out of curiosity how many times did you attack? The value shown is within the 5% damage variance and we usually list bonus dmg in 5% intervals (eg. 20%, 25%, 30%, 35% etc).

Many times but it shows me the same above 23% less than 24% results. Well, this is on the trial dungeon though. Might as well try it on living monsters if there will be a difference.

By the way, I am doing my math right? I'm doing echo damage divided by the base damage.

PetriW (talkcontribs)

Afaik that is correct, but usually it varies in a span... Like 23% to 25% would mean 24%. 22% to 24% would mean 23%.

My friend tested it again and said that the echo is not constant 23%. It sometimes deal 22% or 28%. Then I guess we should settle for "Estimated 25%"?. A little off-topic, I tested Murgleis vs. Non-element turrets. I got 33% - 38% echo results.

Seyren, your methodology doesn't seem very sound from this thread alone. The fact that you state a value, then refute it later with different numbers means it's hard to determine whether you're doing tests correctly in the first place.

To properly judge the percent you should get at least 20 samples. If the value is unexpected (aka not an even 5%) get more samples. ALL damage has a random factor applied to it which you have to account for.

I'll update the weapon to say it's 25% since that seems to be the real value.
