I had meant to ask this half a month ago, but it slipped my mind. Is it just for aesthetic purposes and it's random? Or is there meaning to it?

Iirc each seasonal event should have 2 colors for cutscene icons. One when there's a new cutscene available that hasn't been read yet and one for when that's not the case.

I think in the case of the Valentine seasonal scenes specifically, the color of the icon was also dependent on the characters gender, red for female, blue for male, and purple for both or neither.
