About Arcarum
First Steps
- Clear the Normal and Hard difficulty routes once each to unlock the Extreme difficulty
- Hint #1: Never use Fast Expedition
- You would be missing a lot of
Arcapoints, and valuable materials such as:
- Arcarum Fragments in particular only drop from Extreme-exclusive rare monsters
- You would be missing a lot of
- Hint #2: Ideally you want to avoid using
Globe of the Starways
- It is only recommended to use them when you need to unlock a specific Evoker fast
- Hint #3: Only use arcarum points to buy the following:
- All other Arcarum items will overflow very easily
- Hint #4: Always try to have at least 30,000-40,000
Arcapoints at hand
- This is so you can buy a
Sunlight Stone or a
Sephira Evolite on demand
- This is so you can buy a
- Hint #5: Clear all of the encounters in every stage. Do not waste arcapoints.
Feel free to buy any Arcarum Badge Limit Upgrade. That way you can hoard your arcarum tickets for an upcoming magfes.
Which Evoker to Unlock First?
In the current state of the game, 3 Evokers are essential to have access to the strongest strategies in their respective elements:
- You should unlock
Nier as your first Evoker, as she is the most game-changing for her element
- Then, proceed to unlock
Alanaan and
Caim in any order you deem best
After unlocking the three aforementioned Evokers:
- You will have three offense-oriented 5★ Arcarum Summons:
- Focus on crafting the three remaining offense-oriented 5★ Arcarum Summons:
- Like Seraphic Weapons, these summons' sub-auras amplify damage dealt when on-element
- Prioritize the ones that will give you an advantage in the coming Unite and Fight event
Which Route To Start With?
- Start by farming Point Celsus (also known as the bottom route) to gather the following materials to unlock
Nier:
Death Idean ×79
Celsus Fragment ×30
- We recommend that you use as many
Globe of the Starways as needed
- Then start to focus on Point Aquila (also known as the top route) so you can unlock both
Alanaan and
Caim at the same time
- Use
Arcapoints to buy
Darkborne Astras until you have enough to recruit
Nier
Among other materials, you will need in particular:
Idean ×79
Arcarum Fragment ×30
Sephira Stone ×137
Astra ×314
Omega II Omega Anima ×10
Sephira Evolite ×1
Sunlight Stone ×1
Haze ×86
Verum Proof ×572
for every Evoker you want to unlock.
Efficient Arcarum Farming
The basics
- Do not fodder or reduce any of the Sephira Weapons as it's still unsure whether or not they'll be required for future content.
- Always fulfill the condition for rare encounter bosses to appear.
- Bookmark the following link: http://game.granbluefantasy.jp/#arcarum2/stage

Religiously apply BountyItem drop rate is boosted
on:
- The Null Element single-spawn monsters Gatekeeper and Sephira Guardian.
- They can drop 1 additional
Sephira Stone.
- They can drop 1 additional
- The Puppet bosses found at stage 3-3 and stage 6-3. Those have 4 non-guaranteed chests which can drop up to 2 additional 25px Ideans and 2 up to additional 25px Astras.
- Mimics
- Silver Mimic: Has 7 non-guaranteed chests, which can drop 1 25px Haze among a few other noticeable rewards.
- Gold Mimic: Has 5 non-guaranteed chests, which can drop 1 additional
Sephira Stone and 1 SSR Omega Weapon or Tier 1 Summon Weapon.
- As a new player you might get gated by 25px Verum Proofs and 25px Hazes. I do recommend applying
BountyItem drop rate is boosted
on stages with single and multiple enemies to increase their drop frequency. Later, they'll easily overflow. - Note that 750 25px Verum Proofs of each element are required to trade for all 6 astral weapons.
Do NOT apply BountyItem drop rate is boosted
on:
- The Arcarum Series bosses found at stage 9-3
- The rare encounter monsters: Ruby Turtle, Aldebaran, and Castor & Pollux.
The above enemies all have fixed chest drops and therefore are not affected by Drop Rate Boosts.

Disclaimer
This is my recommended strategy for all early and mid game players. These 3 evokers are objectively the best picks of all 10, it is a recommended pathway for progression, but not the only route for oracle recruitment.
Does that mean that the other oracles are bad?:
No. They're all strong and have unique, niche roles in their respectively elements, but they don't bring as much or are as flexible as the 3 oracles first mentioned (Nier, Alaanan, Caim) to their respective elements.
Does that mean i can't pick any of the other 7?:
It's a recommendation, not a rule. Due to less usage from the other 7 oracles, i expect you to know what you are doing upon recruiting them.

I hope this guide will be helpful to everyone reading it. Special thanks to Sphere, Space and CJ-XCV for all their revision and suggestions. I'll still be updating this guide from time to time with new setups and to update it with any new info.
