Two Zooeys appear on the scene: one is (Captain)'s murderer, while the other is the close friend that the crew's known all along. The friendly Zooey can feel her link with Cosmos weakening and explains everything to the crew.

Io: Don't you two go dying on us!

Io: The healing spell's not working even though I'm focusing all of my mana!

Katalina: I can't believe it... Even Lyria's lost consciousness!

Rosetta: It must be their life link at work...

Vyrn: This can't be real... Open up your eyes, you two! Waaah!

Clinging to an unconscious (Captain) and Lyria, Vyrn lets out a heart-wrenching sob.

Io: Nuh-uh... There's no way they're both dead!

Rosetta: ...

Io: Say it ain't so!

Grand Order: ...

Rackam: Cripes... Why did things have to turn out this way?

Eugen: We'd better get everyone else here...

The primal pals find themselves frozen in place by the tragic sight before them.

Medusa: Someone needs to start talking right now!

Io: (Captain) and Lyria won't open their eyes... They're not breathing...

Baal: How'd this happen all of a sudden?

Rackam: It was her... Zooey came and attacked us outta the blue!

Primal Pals: ...!

All eyes turn to her.

Medusa: Damn you!

Grand Order: ...

Medusa: You'd better have a good explanation for this! Why would you betray us!

Grand Order: I am a manifestation of the world's will. What happened here was merely an act of arbitration.

Medusa: Gah! You're not making a lick of sense!

Nezha: Calm down, Medusa.

Medusa: Let go of me, Nezha! Don't tell me you're okay with what's happened to (Captain)!

Medusa: You know just as well as I do how frail mortals can be! Once they're dead, there's no coming back!

Satyr: Meddy...

Nezha: In any case, we should detain her.

Baal: Agreed. We can't let any more of our crewmates suffer the same fate. That would be a disservice to (Captain).

The crew find themselves speechless at the thunderous appearance of another Zooey.
