Together in Song - Chapter 1: The Relief Concert - Episode 1

The next day (Captain) and the crew land on Perfetto Island, where they witness the aftermath of the landslide firsthand. The relief concert opens with a performance by the Sky Philharmonic Orchestra, much to the delight of the art-loving islanders.

The following day (Captain)'s crew arrives on Perfetto Island, where the relief concert is to be held.
Lyria: I heard that half the island is buried in black dirt and soil. That's just horrible...
Vyrn: Yeah. At least the port made it through okay, or we would've had a rough time landing.
Elta: The streets are littered with soil too, so we'll have to get to the town on foot.
Selfira: There might be areas that are still unstable. Make sure to keep an eye out.
Although restoration efforts are proceeding steadily, the after-effects of the disaster can still be clearly seen throughout the island.
As the concert approaches, the eyes of the islanders reflect the countless hardships they have faced.
(Captain) bids farewell to Elta and Selfira and heads off to watch the concert from a seat at the back of the audience.
A large crowd waits in front of an outdoor stage in the town square, eager for the show to begin.
Musician: Oh! It's starting!
After the orchestra has finished tuning, Narita appears on stage to tumultuous applause.
When he reaches the center of the stage, he takes a graceful bow and raises his baton, turning his attention to the orchestra.
Novei: ...
The musicians focus on Narita, waiting for the moment he waves his baton.
A light spiccato done in unison stirs up excitement, as though setting the stage for a story.
Pamela: ...
A clear, peaceful melody speaks directly to the audience, luring them into the world of the music.
Robertina: ...
A pounding bass line carves out a rhythm like a heartbeat, bringing everything together with a vigor reminiscent of the power of life itself.
Cecile: ...
Carefree high notes leap and dance, highlighting the music with joyful accompaniment.
Augusta: ...
A cello's tenor staccatos give rise to a thrilling sense of speed, drawing the audience in.
Instrument Crafter: So this is what the most famous orchestra in the skies sounds like... Wow.
Artist's Son: Orchestras are really cool! I want to learn to play an instrument too!
Lyria: Hehe. It sounds like everyone's enjoying themselves!
(Captain) and the crew smile upon seeing the sparkling eyes of the islanders.
As the performance continues, the story interwoven by the music moves toward its climax.
Cymbals and timpani ring out, the thrilling tremolo signaling the arrival of the grand finale.
Narita's movements reach a crescendo. His intensity permeates throughout the entire hall, refusing to give the audience members a chance to catch their breath.
The Five: ...!
As soon as the music fades, the concert hall breaks into roaring applause.
Instrument Crafter: Bravo! That was wonderful!
Artist's Son: Bravo! Bravo!
Narita: All right!
Narita puffs out his chest proudly as he hears the cheers filling the hall.
He turns to wave off stage, and Nobiyo calmly walks out to join him.
Nobiyo: Thank you, thank you.
Nobiyo: What a powerful performance. I think I was even more blown away than you were.
Nobiyo smiles kindly as he looks out across the faces of the islanders.
Nobiyo: I know you've all been through a lot, but we've asked some spectacular musicians to come perform for you today.
Nobiyo: I hope you'll enjoy the concert.
Warm applause fills the hall in response to Nobiyo's message.
Nobiyo raises his hand in thanks and exits the stage. The other musicians follow after him, instruments in hand.
Instrument Crafter: Haha. We got to hear something really special today.
Artist's Son: Yeah! I can't wait for the next act!
The excitement in the air is almost palpable as the islanders wait for the next performance to begin.
