Happy Birthday Cutscenes

1

Happy Birthday!
Wow, congratulations! We've gotta celebrate today like we mean it!
As a present, I'll let you train with me whenever you like!
So when's a good time for you? Today? Today would work great!

2

(Captain)! Happy birthday! I'm so happy for you!
Y'know, this year I really racked my brain over what to get you.
I already promised to train with you whenever you wanted, so I can't give you that again... What do you think I got you this time?
Hmm? Of course, just take a guess! I really wanted to give you something good this year!
You can't think of anything? Hehe. And the answer is...
You get to name my new special move! Woohoo! So? Do you like it?
H-hey, don't make that face!

3

Happy birthday, (Captain)! Yaaay!
I got you a present this year too. Here, choose one card out of these three.
You're choosing this one? Let me see!
"Rising Phoenix!" Ooh, you chose the move that can take out even flying dragons!
Hm, you have no idea what I'm talking about? Heh heh heh! One look at this, and you'll be a believer!
Here I go! Hyaaah!
See? Was that awesome or what? I'm gonna teach you this move, (Captain)!
Hehe, is this the best birthday present or what? Hey, no need to be bashful!

4

Happy birthday, (Captain)! Clap clap clap!
How're you doing with the move I gave you before?
Whoa, that's awesome! I'm so glad I gave it to you!
Okay, here's another present from me this year!
Tada! A giant special bithday meat pie!
If you eat this, you'll have enough energy to use the move, like, fifty times!
Seeing you get stronger, (Captain), makes me want to get stronger too!
So let's continue training this year and grow stronger together!

5

Happy birthday, (Captain)!
Who would've thought that we'd end up journeying together for this long, right?
But ever since I met you, I got to know so many new things in this world, and I was able to meet so many strong people!
That's why I'm really grateful for you, (Captain). Thanks for letting me see just how vast these skies are!
We still have a long way ahead, but let's keep it up and plough our way through together!
Hehe... It sure is nice to say these things out loud sometimes!
Oh, that's right—I have a present for you! Here you go!
It's a secret book of new techniques that I made myself! Promise me you'll read it carefully and get even stronger!

1

Happy New Year!
I want to come flying out of the gate this year like you wouldn't believe!
Hm, I wonder how strong I'll be able to get by next year?
Of course, I'll gladly train with you, Captain!

2

A whole new year, a whole new me! Say, (Captain), what's your resolution for this year?
What? Haven't decided yet? Oh, come on, you've gotta have a New Year's resolution!
Me? To get stronger of course!
Huh? It's the same as every other year's?
S-so what!

3

Happy New Year!
And full speed ahead to the south!
Hehe, I opened up a fortune cookie and it said to go south. That's why I'm gonna sprint south as far as I can.
You wanna join me, (Captain)?
Yay! Off we go then!
Hm? What's with all the clamor?
Ah! Over there, (Captain)! Look, they're holding a festival!
I had no idea a New Year's festival was being held so close to home! I guess I hit the jackpot in a way with that fortune cookie!
Hehe, I can already tell this is gonna be one fantastic year!

4

Happy New Year!
Huh? Are you still half-asleep?
Well, I guess it's still before sunrise, so it's a bit earlier than usual.
But we can't waste time like this! We gotta get started on our first practice of the year!
Come on! Let's run up to the top of that mountain. If we start now, we should be able to get there in time for the sunrise!
No problem! I know we can both do it!
Huh? You wanna race all the way to the top? Good idea!
All right, then let's do it.
Ready... Go!

5

Happy New Year, (Captain)!
I had a crazy dream last night! I felt my mind, skill, and body get really in tune, so I made a sharp kick and split an entire island in two!
Since that was my first dream of the year, that must mean I'm gonna get a lot stronger this year, right?
Aww, it would be so cool if I could actually do that! It'd feel so good!
Well, I guess we'd be in trouble if the island fell apart...
Still, I'm gonna use that as motivation and keep working hard in my training!
If you have some time, let's go train together, (Captain)! How about it?

1

Happy Valentine's!
Right, here we go... This chocolate is for you, Captain.
Huh? You... weren't expecting this? I can make chocolate just fine, you know!
You thought I was just some kung-fu klutz? Well, boo to that!

2

(Captain), won't you try some chocolates I made?
Stan says they're the best he's tasted so far.
Wh-what're you grinning about? It's not like it means anything.
S-stop it! Don't get the wrong idea!

3

Hey, (Captain)... Are you free right now?
You know how today's Valentine's? So you see, I had my mom help me make some chocolate.
Problem is we tried out so many recipes that we ended up with too much chocolate. So feel free to take any you like!
Hm, you're wondering why I went with new recipes? Well, how should I put this...
Huh? Wh-what's Stan got to do with this?
It's not like I was so happy when Stan praised my chocolates last year that I wanted to do one better! It's not that at all!
Hey! Quit laughing!
A-anyway, this here's for you! I'm really proud of this one, so I hope you'll like it!

4

Oh, (Captain)! Perfect timing!
I just wanted to say, thanks for everything. Here's some Valentine's chocolate from me!
I made a lot this year, so I sent some to Papa, Mama, and Grandpa too.
Heheh. It's kind of embarrassing, but it's great being able to express my gratitude like this! I'm happy and my family is happy...
Huh? S-Stan? O-oh, well, of course I gave some to him too...
Huh? Express my gratitude?
Yeah, I already did... I told him I appreciated him for always being there for me...
Ahhhh! A-anyway, I gave you yours, so I hope you like it!

5

Here's some Valentine's chocolate for this year, (Captain)!
And I wrote something for you this time! Here, let me read it!
"Thanks for protecting me from those monsters the other day! You've become really strong and dependable!"
"Next time, I'll be the one to protect you. So let's keep working hard together, Stan."
Wait a second... Huh?
Ahh, this was a letter for Stan! I read the wrong one!
Forget what you heard just now, okay? Pleeease?
Eeeek... I can't believe that just happened... I've never been so embarrassed in my life...

Whew, today was another perfect training day... Huh? This is for me?
Oh my gosh, I couldn't be happier! You remembered! Thank you so much, (Captain)!
Hee hee, I'm feeling extra energized now. Time for one more round of training!

2

Hehe. Are these for me? Aww, thanks!
Great timing too. I was just in the mood for something sweet.
Well, no reason I can't try a bite right now!
Mmm! This is delicious! Just what the doctor ordered!
All right! Now that I'm stocked up on sugar, it's time to train! Wanna join me, (Captain)?

3

This is to pay me back for Valentine's? Hey, thanks! You just made my day!
Let's see what you got for me this year! These would be great in between training sessions!
Hey, you have some time after this? I came up with a special White Day training menu, and I'd like you to join me!
There's tug-of-war, elevated push-ups while we hold each other's legs, and so much more! C'mon, it'll be fun!
You're up for it? Good, let's go!

4

A White Day present? For me? Wow, thanks!
It even says "Thanks for everything" on it!
That's amazing! This kind of thing just makes me so happy.
Hehe. I'm gonna really give it my best at today's training!
I'll save this and eat it during my break! I'm off to practice!

5

Huh? A gift in return for Valentine's? Wow, I'm so happy!
You're always giving me things and being so thoughtful. I really love you, (Captain)!
Sigh... That's weird. Saying stuff like "I love you" to you isn't hard at all...
But I couldn't even write it in the letter I gave Stan the other day. I'd try, only to crumple it up and toss the paper in the garbage...
Hm? You're saying that Stan understands even if you don't say it out loud? Yeah, I'm sure you're right...
Still, I want to be able to say it properly. So I guess I'll try practicing while I train!
Thanks for listening! And for the dessert too. I can't wait to eat it!

Trick or Treat Cutscenes

1

Happy Halloween!
Kick or treat! If you don't give me any candy I'll kick you into the next skydom!
Just kidding! Trick or treat, with a trick incoming!
Oogie boogie boogie! Gimme your candy! All of it!

2

I'm here for candy!
Oops, I mean... Trick or treat!
Hand over all them treats, (Captain)! Groaarr!
Wh-what? You choose trick? N-no, wait! That's not how it works!
Huh? Then you're going to play a trick on me? W-wait! Nooo!

3

Almost there... Now!
Aaaah!
Ahahaha! Did that scare you? I guess Operation Tiptoe's a success!
Huh? I played a trick on you, so I don't get any candy? But I didn't know you... Wait, last year you said you'd prefer a trick over a treat!
C'mon, be a good sport and gimme the candy! Please! Please! Pretty please!
Wait, now you want to play a trick on me? Oh, you can be so naughty, (Captain)!
Okay, just give me a sec... Gotta psyche myself up...
Y-yikes!

4

Hey, (Captain)! Trick or tre—
Whoa! What the heck was that? A party cracker?
Wait a minute... You did this, didn't you? That smirk on your face says it all!
Roooar, roooar! You really did it this time, (Captain)! I'm not letting you get away until you give me some treats!

5

(Captain)! Did you see the children dressed up and going around for candy over there?
It looks so fun... I wish I could go around and say "trick or treat" too!
Hey, why don't we give it a try? We'll get so much candy!
Don't worry, I've already prepared my costume! I just bought something nice from the Knickknack Shack!
Okay, then it's settled! I'm gonna go get changed, so wait for me!

Happy Holidays Cutscenes
# Link Text
1

Happy holidays!
I always spend today with my Mama and Papa.
All day long, I get to enjoy my family's cooking!
I'm sure they'd both appreciate it if you came along, (Captain). Let's go!

2

Mama and Papa are asking for you to come over, (Captain).
Seems they really enjoyed your company last year!
Mama's made all your favorites! C'mon and get ready—she's waiting for you!
Papa told me to invite all the crew members along this time! Let's go let them know!
I have a feeling this year's holiday party is going to be a blast! Don't you?

3

Happy holidays!
My grandpa's coming by my house for a visit today! It's been so long!
We'll get to duke it out like the old days! I can't wait to show him how much stronger I've gotten!
We'll follow up the training session with a holiday party!
You and everyone else should drop by, (Captain)! I'd love to introduce you to Gramps!
Teehehe, it's gonna be so much fun tonight... I'm already stoked just thinking about it!
Well, I'd better get shopping in preparation. Any chance you can give me a hand with that, (Captain)?
I'll treat you to an extra helping of everything as thanks!
Let's make this the bestest party ever, (Captain)!

4

This year, I followed Mama's instructions and tried making a special dinner to celebrate the holy night!
I've always helped out and stuff, but this was my first time making it from scratch by myself.
It's harder than it looks, you know! There's a lot of secret ingredients involved and tricks to adjusting the heat and flavor in Mama's cooking.
I'm impressed that she's always put so much effort into preparing for the party every year!
Anyway, I think it turned out pretty well, so I hope you'll have some too. Are you free tonight, (Captain)?
Great! Okay, then I'll go and get things ready! Look forward to it!

5

Wow, look, (Captain)! It's really snowing outside!
Since it never snows in Valtz, this might be my first time seeing so much of it around this time of year!
Do you think it's gonna stay? I hope it piles up so the snow's taller than me!
Then we can make a huge snowman that's as big as this ship! We can make it on the deck—it'd look awesome!
Huh? We can't make one that big?
Of course we can! With the both of us, I'm sure it'll be easy-peasy.
I can't wait! I'm having so much fun just imagining it.
Come on! Snow more, snow more! Ahaha!

Smiles at the Beach

Aliza goes to Auguste with (Captain) and company. Though she had invited Stan to the beach, he had turned down the offer, claiming to be suffering from heat fatigue. Little did Aliza know that Stan had simply been too embarrassed to spend time together when she's cutely dressed in her swimsuit. When the crew visits a beach house for lunch, they bump into Farrah, who goes down to the beach with Aliza after lunch.

Aliza: It's the oceeean!
Aliza can't contain her joy at the sight of the glittering, blue sea spreading out before her eyes.
She is at Auguste with (Captain) and company, hoping to take some time to relax and enjoy the summer.
Aliza: The ocean is so big! It just goes on and on!
Aliza: Yoohoooo!
Vyrn: Aren'tcha supposed to do that in the mountains or somethin'?
Aliza: Who cares? I just do it whenever I feel like it!
Aliza: Gotta make the most of our vacation!
Lyria: Hehe. Looks like you're having a wonderful time already, Aliza!
Vyrn: Makes the trip worth it! Glad we decided to drop by here after all.
Vyrn: You sure you're okay hangin' out with us though? Don't you wanna come with Stan? I thought you guys were goin' out.
Aliza: W-well... I do want to come with Stan...
Aliza: But he's been having a hard time with the heat lately. I didn't want to ask him when he's feeling under the weather.
Lyria: Stan's not feeling well from the heat? That's too bad...
Aliza: Hopefully he'll get better soon. Geez... Why'd he have to go and get sick now of all times!
Stan: Sigh... I feel so bad...
Stan sits alone in his room, a heavy sigh escaping him.
For someone supposedly recovering from heat fatigue, his complexion is rather healthy.
Stan: Aliza looked so disappointed when she found out we weren't going to go to the beach together...
Stan: But I mean... I just can't!
Aliza's Voice: Staaan! Can I come in?
Stan: Yeah, go ahead! The door's unlocked.
Aliza: Stan! Let's go to the beach!
Aliza: Heheh, I got ahead of myself and already changed into my swimsuit! I just couldn't wait!
Stan: ...!
A-A-Aliza... Swimsuit...
Aliza: Hm? What's wrong?
Stan: U-um, well...
Stan: (It's my first time seeing Aliza in a swimsuit...)
Stan: (She's just... too cute!)
Stan: She was so cute, I couldn't even look her in the eyes! It's too embarrassing!
Stan: I can't just hang out with her when she's looking so cute! My heart wouldn't be able to take it!
Stan: Still... I shouldn't have lied and said no. Now Aliza's all worried...
Stan: I should've just gone with her... Sigh...
The more Stan thinks about it, the more he regrets having turned down Aliza's invitation.
Aliza: Okay, next is the beach dash!
Ready, (Captain)? And... go!
Without waiting for the captain's response, Aliza sprints across the sand.
Aliza: Goal! I win! You're so slow, (Captain)!
  1. Can't keep up with you.
  2. I didn't say I was going to race you...

Choose: Can't keep up with you.
Aliza: Of course not! I don't train every day for nothing, you know. I'm not losing to anyone—not even you!

Choose: I didn't say I was going to race you...
Aliza: You gotta be ready at all times! Foes don't just wait around, you know?
Continue 1
Vyrn: Haha, looks like you're havin' a blast! That's just like you, Aliza.
Aliza: Stan told me to go have his share of fun too, so I gotta enjoy myself and tell him all about it after!
Aliza: And all of you are gonna help me do that! Come on!
Lyria: Eep!
Vyrn: Bwah!
Vyrn: You've done it now... Take this! That's for splashin' us!
Lyria: And this!
Aliza: Eek, that's cold! Ahaha, that's the spirit!
Aliza and company splash water at one another, laughing without a care in the skies as their voices ring out across the beach.
After some time, the crew find their stomachs rumbling and decide to head to a beach house for lunch.
Aliza: Mmm, these briny-bites are delicious!
Aliza: Why does food taste that much better after a good time at the beach?
Lyria: I'm wondering the same thing! It's magic!
Aliza: I can't get enough of this!
Aliza: Excuse me! Could we get another plate of yakisoba?
Vyrn: You're not gonna get a stomachache from eating that much, are ya?
Aliza: No way! I'm actually holding back—I can eat way more than this!
Vyrn: You've got one heck of an appetite...
Farrah: I love watching you eat! Makes everything look so much more delicious!
Aliza: Farrah! What're you doing here?
Farrah: I'm working part-time here at the beach house. Just helping out where I can, since I heard they weren't getting enough people.
Aliza: I see...
Aliza: Now I feel kinda bad having so much fun at the beach while my crewmates are busy working.
Farrah: Hey, don't sweat it! Besides, after lunchtime I'll be free, so it's all good!
Aliza: Really? Let's hang out when you're done then!
Farrah: Sure! Let's do it!
Vyrn: You're up for more after this? I think I'm all beached out for the day...
Lyria: Ahaha, me too... My feet are pretty worn out from running around...
Aliza: Aw, okay... You guys rest up! I'll go to the beach with Farrah later!
A short while after the lunch rush, Aliza meets up with Farrah.
Aliza: All right! It's gonna be a great afternoon!
Aliza: How about we start with... a race to those rocks over there in the distance?
Aliza: I've always wanted a chance to compete with you athletically!
Farrah: Perfect! Sounds good to me. I won't be losing!
Aliza: Neither will I!
Start us off, (Captain)!
  1. Ready... Go!

Choose: Ready... Go!
At (Captain)'s signal, Aliza and Farrah break out into a powerful sprint.
Vyrn: I can't believe they can still run like that after eating... How do they have so much energy?
Lyria: Be careful!
(Captain) and company watch with smiles on their faces as the girls dash into the distance.
Farrah: Whoa! Your legs are so strong, you're kicking up a sandstorm while you run!
Aliza: Ahaha! I'm pretty determined to win!
Aliza: I have to enjoy Stan's share of the beach too, after all...
Aliza: I'm gonna bring back a ton of souvenirs and stories for him!
With positivity burning in her heart, Aliza continues running toward the waters of Auguste with a bright smile on her face.

Searching for Red

Aliza and Farrah race down the beach until they reach a secluded area. They find a little girl, who tells them she lives in the area and is searching for red sea glass to give to her ill mother. Worried for her safety, Aliza and Farrah stay with the girl in case any monsters appear. The three look for sea glass together.

Aliza: Huff, huff...
Farrah: Pant, pant...
Aliza and Farrah are making a mad dash across the sand as the crew watch from afar.
Despite their ragged breaths, the two are neck and neck, determined to win the race.
Aliza: You should be reaching your limit soon. Maybe it's time for you to call it quits!
Farrah: Hah, I've still got plenty of energy in me! Sure you're not the one who's ready to give up?
Aliza: Not a chance!
With the rocks that serve as their goal in sight, Aliza picks up her pace. However...
Farrah: Here's where I turn the tables! See ya!
Aliza: Huh? Hey!
Aliza speeds up as well, closing the distance between her and Farrah.
Farrah: I'm gonna win this!
Aliza: No, I am!
The moment they arrive at the rocks, the two collapse onto the beach, exhausted.
Aliza: Pant, pant... That was close, but I won!
Farrah: Hold on a minute... Pretty sure I was first!
Aliza: Wha! I was faster than you by half a step!
Farrah: Nope! I'm not giving up my victory. Not even to you, Aliza!
Aliza: Well, I'm not giving it up either!
The tension only lasts a moment before the two burst into laughter.
Aliza: Ahaha! You really hate losing, don't you?
Farrah: So do you, and you know it!
Aliza: Yeah, you're right! Why don't we call it a tie?
Farrah: Sounds good! It's a tie!
Aliza: I didn't think I'd get this worked up about the race! It's just so exhilarating!
Farrah: I feel the same! I don't know how to explain it—I just love it!
Farrah: Back when I was a new imperial soldier, I often competed with Yuri too! I mean, not much about that has changed even now.
Aliza: You two always get along so well.
Aliza: (I'm a bit jealous of that, to be honest. Sometimes I wish Stan was a little more competitive...)
Farrah: Hm? What's the matter? Didn't get your fill from the race?
Aliza: Huh? Oh, no! I was just thinking about... stuff... Ahaha.
Aliza: Anyway, I was so into our race that I didn't even realize we'd run so far out.
Farrah: Yeah. We're pretty far from the tourist area—I don't see a single person here.
Aliza: We don't wanna worry (Captain) and the others too much. Let's starting heading back.
Aliza begins to walk back toward where they came from when something catches her eye.
Little Girl: ...
Aliza: Hm? What's that girl doing over there?
Farrah: That's strange... This isn't really a place people would usually want to visit.
Aliza: Maybe she's lost. Why don't we go talk to her?
Aliza: Hey, what's the matter? Did you get separated from your parents?
Little Girl: No. Mommy and Daddy are at home.
The girl points to a house nearby.
Aliza: Oh, so you're from around here! Sorry, we thought you were lost.
Farrah: But it's dangerous being out by yourself like this. You never know where monsters are hiding.
Little Girl: Um, I was looking for red sea glass...
Little Girl: I thought I might find some if I looked in places where there aren't a lot of people...
Aliza: Red sea glass?
Farrah: What's sea glass?
Little Girl: Sea glass is... this. See?
The girl picks up something small from the sand and shows it to Aliza and Farrah.
Little Girl: This is green sea glass. Look, it's so clear and sparkly. Isn't it pretty?
Aliza: Oh, wow! I didn't even notice there were gems like that scattered in the sand.
Little Girl: Usually you can find bits of green and blue here and there...
Little Girl: But red is really, really rare. People say only one out of five thousand pieces is red.
Farrah: That's pretty rare! Bet it'd take a long time to find one...
Aliza: Why are you searching for a red piece? Are you gonna give it to someone?
Little Girl: Yeah... I want to give it to Mommy.
Little Girl: She's sick, so she's always in bed. Daddy stays home and tends to her.
Little Girl: I want to help out too, but there's not much I can do...
Little Girl: So I thought, maybe it'd make Mommy happy if I gave her some red sea glass. She likes red.
Aliza: So that's how it is...
Aliza: Hey, would it be okay if I helped look for some red sea glass too?
Little Girl: Huh? You want to help me look?
Aliza: Yeah. I actually like red a lot too! I kind of want to see what this red sea glass looks like.
Aliza: Maybe we'll find something if we both look. What do you think?
Little Girl: I'd like that... but are you sure?
Aliza: Of course! I want to help. So you don't have to feel bad about it at all!
Farrah: I'll help look too! And we'll be here to help fend off any monsters!
Little Girl: Thanks so much!
Aliza: All right! Don't worry, we'll find that red sea glass in no time!
Farrah: Yeah!

Searching for Red: Scene 2

The little girl tells the two that red sea glass is rare—and sure enough, they fail to find anything until sundown, when Aliza comes across a large piece of red sea glass. Wanting the girl to find it herself, Aliza hatches a plan to hide it again when the girl is suddenly attacked by a monster a little ways away.

The three scour the beach in search of red sea glass.
Aliza and Farrah dig through the sand, determined to find something for the little girl. But not a single red piece is to be found.
Farrah: I know it's rare, but this really is hard to find...
Farrah: All this squinting and crouching's getting me tired, both mentally and physically...
Aliza: I've been finding a lot of brown and green pieces... I wonder why it's so hard to find a red one.
Little Girl: Oh, that's because red bottles are rare in the first place!
Little Girl: Sea glass are bits from abandoned bottles. The waves polish them for a long time before they start looking like this.
Aliza: Ooh, I didn't know that. But now that you mention it, I guess red bottles are rare compared to brown or green ones.
Farrah: You mean tossed-out bottles slowly turn into gems like these? Wow, that's so cool.
Aliza: Polished... over a long time, huh?
Aliza: (Speaking of time, I wonder if there'll be a day... when Mama finally accepts my relationship with Stan.)
Aliza: (If we prove that what we have between us isn't a whim, but a bond we want to share and continue to grow... I'm sure Mama will understand.)
Aliza is lost in thought as she keeps her eyes on the sand, reluctant to give up on finding the sea glass.
But no matter how patiently they search, the red sea glass remains elusive—and before they know it, the sun has already begun to sink into the horizon.
Aliza: We've looked far and wide... Where are you, red sea glass!
Farrah: I thought it'd be easier than this...
Little Girl: It's okay... Thanks for helping me look.
Little Girl: It's too bad we couldn't find it, but I had fun looking through the sand together.
The little girl smiles at them, but Aliza can hear the disappointment in her voice.
Aliza: Wait. Let's search just a while longer! We've come this far, after all. Just a little more!
Little Girl: But...
Aliza: Just that area over there! Let's call it a day after we look through there. What do you say?
Little Girl: ...
All right!
Aliza: Sorry for deciding to do that without consulting you, Farrah. Could you help us look just a bit longer?
Farrah: Not a problem! I don't wanna go back without finding anything either!
The three move to a slightly different area and begin combing through the sand once more.
Aliza: (This is our last chance... I have to find something for the little girl!)
Aliza: (Not this piece... Not this one either... Red, red, red...)
Aliza: Oh!
Aliza: (I found one! I really found one! Yaaay! It's a miracle!)
Aliza: (This sea glass is big too—as big as my palm. She'll be so happy when she sees this!)
Aliza: Farrah! Hey, Farrah! Over here!
Farrah: What's the matter? Don't tell me you already—
Farrah: Whoa, you actually got your hands on one! That's an amazing find, Ali—
Aliza: Shh! Keep quiet!
Farrah: Hm? But why? Aren't you going to tell our little friend you found one?
Aliza: Don't you think she'll be happier if she found it herself, rather than us giving it to her?
Aliza: Let's hide this and have her find it one more time.
Farrah: That's a great idea! Leave it to ya to think of something like that, Aliza.
Aliza: I'll need your help though.
Aliza: Think you could lead the little girl to around where I hide the sea glass?
Farrah: That's easy, leave it to me! I'll go get her then!
Farrah: Huh? Wait, where did she go...
Aliza: Oh yeah... I don't see her. She shouldn't have gone too far...
Little Girl's Voice: Eeek!
Aliza: ...!
That's the little girl's voice!
Farrah: It was from behind those rocks! Let's hurry!
Monster: Grrr!
Little Girl: No! Don't come here!
Farrah: Just as we thought—a monster!
Aliza: Hold on! We'll be right there!

Searching for Red: Scene 3

After successfully defeating the monster, Aliza is sad to find that the red sea glass in her pocket had broken into three pieces during the fight. When the little girl sees it, however, she is overjoyed and hands Aliza and Farrah each a piece of the glass. Grateful for this precious summer memory, Aliza accepts the sea glass and shows it to Stan that night. She leaves Stan's room, smiling as she imagines the two of them spending the next summer together.

Monster: Grrr!
Aliza: Rgh! You've done it now...
Aliza: Haaah!
Farrah: Hraaah!
Monster: Grrr...
After suffering Aliza and Farrah's powerful hits, the monster escapes back into the ocean as fast as it can.
Farrah: Phew... That was a close one.
Aliza: Are you all right? Are you hurt?
Little Girl: No, I'm all right. Are the two of you okay? The monster hit you, didn't it?
Aliza: Hah, those don't even count as hits. Thanks for worrying about us though!
Aliza: I'm really sorry we let you out of our sight... Were you scared?
Little Girl: It wasn't scary at all. Both of you were there to save me!
Aliza: I see. You're a strong one, aren'tcha!
Aliza: (How about we put our plan into action, Farrah?)
Farrah: (You got it!)
Taking Aliza's look as a signal, Farrah gives her friend a discreet thumbs-up.
Farrah: Ah! I have a feeling we might find something over there!
Farrah: Can you guys come take a look with me?
Aliza: (Okay, good. Now I'll just go on ahead and...)
Aliza: Huh?
Wha! No way!
Farrah: Wh-what's the matter?
Aliza: Oh no...
When Aliza pulls the red sea glass out from her pocket, they find the glass neatly broken into three pieces.
Farrah: It must've broke when the monster attacked us just then...
Aliza: I put it in my pocket right away so I wouldn't lose it, but I should've left it somewhere safe instead...
Aliza: Argh... I'm so stupid...
Little Girl: Wow, red sea glass! Did you find that?
Aliza: Y-yeah... It looked a lot prettier before. I'm sorry it's like this now...
Little Girl: What do you mean? It's perfect!
The little girl takes the sea glass and puts a piece in each of their hands.
Little Girl: Now we all have a piece of red sea glass! We all found one!
Aliza: ...
Farrah: Ahaha. I like that idea! I guess it's meant to be!
Aliza: Yeah! Thanks for the sea glass. I'll treasure this forever!
After that, Aliza and Farrah see the little girl home safely.
Their hearts are full as they return to the Grandcypher, grateful for their wonderful encounter on the beach this summer.
That night, Aliza visits Stan at his room to see how he is.
Aliza: How're you feeling, Stan?
Aliza: Farrah's cooking something that's supposed to be good for beating the summer heat. Think you can eat?
Stan: Um, yeah. I'm feeling a lot better after resting for a day... I'll have some.
Stan: (Phew, glad she didn't come in her swimsuit. I can finally talk to her normally.)
Stan: Sorry I worried you. How was the beach? Did you have fun?
Aliza: Yeah, it was great! Look at this! Isn't it so pretty?
To Aliza's surprise, Stan becomes strangely flustered when he sees the red sea glass.
Stan: A-Aliza! Is that red stone... some sort of gem?
Stan: Did a guy give you that? Were they trying to get you interested?
Aliza: Huh? Get me interested? What're you talking about, Stan!
Aliza: I got this from a little girl we spent some time with at the beach! And it's not exactly a gem.
Aliza: Besides, why would I accept a present from a guy I don't even know when I have you... Geez.
Stan: O-oh... Right, I see... Sorry I was jumping to conclusions.
Aliza: If you're that worried, you should just come with me. You know, next year... or something...
Stan: Aliza...
Y-you're right. I'll go with you next year, for sure...
Aliza: ...
Stan: ...
Aliza: ...
Anyway, that's all I had to say!
Aliza: Farrah's waiting for us, so I'm gonna go back first!
Stan: A-all right!
Aliza: ...
Aliza: Next year, huh... Heheh.
A smile spreads across Aliza's face as she wastes no time imagining what awaits her next summer.
