Semi-auto

Bringing enough characters that have guaranteed multiattacks will allow you to attack with no skill usage and instantly win. This can be combined with turning on Semi-Auto for the fight, as well as Pre-Battle Auto Attack to win the fight with a single click/tap whilst loading.

Characters such as Hallessena (Halloween) have guaranteed triple attacks, whereas some like Zeta and Vaseraga (Halloween) only have guaranteed double attacks. For consistency, make sure the guaranteed attack count adds up to 8 or more. This can be achieved with two characters with guaranteed triple attacks (3 + 3 + 1 + 1), or two characters with guaranteed double attacks and one character with a guaranteed triple attack (3 + 2 + 2 + 1).

Several summons can help with hit count as well:

  • 4★  Kaguya (Summon)Main AuraAll allies start battle with AutorevivedRecovers once from a knockout while in effect
    Duration: Indefinite
    .
Boost to main allies' double attack rate based on how low their HP is.
20% boost to item drop rate.
gives 50% double attack rate from her aura, so using her as both main and friend summon will give the whole party guaranteed double attacks.
  • Wind parties may alternatively bring a 4★  Tiamat (Summer)Sub AuraWind allies start battle with Veil (1 time)Debuffs will be nullified (1 time)
Duration: Indefinite"Veil" is an unofficial name used by the wiki for this status effect. Its actual in-game name is "Immune."
and Guaranteed TAGuaranteed triple attack regardless of Triple Attack Lowered debuffs
    Duration: 1 turn
    .
as a sub-summon to guarantee triple attacks in the first turn.
  • Additionally, any party can bring 0★  Belial (Summer)Sub AuraAll allies start battle with Dodge/Tank-and-Counter (1 time)Counters upon dodging one-ally attacks or taking DMG
Strength: 300%Duration: 3 turnsCounter attacks grant 5% charge bar per hit.
and Supplemental DMG (2000)DMG taken is supplemented (Can't be removed)
    Strength: 2000Duration: 3 turns
    .
to get one extra hit from the counter effect.

Some characters hit more than three times on semi auto, freeing up the player's party composition more so they can bring more units to power-level:

  • Poseidon, Grimnir (Valentine), and Cucouroux (Halloween) hit 9 times due to their guaranteed TA and 3-hit split normal attacks, allowing them to clear the fight on their own.
  • Bowman hits 6 times with his guaranteed triple attack and 3-hit automatic skill activation. With three single-attacking party members, the party will reach 9 hits total.
  • Viking, Lancelot (Grand), and Makura hit 4 times with guaranteed double attacks plus two-hit split damage. To reach 8 hits with one of these, the party still needs at least one guaranteed DA character or Summer Belial.

AP Efficiency

From Bluesky_gbf's and otokuro2's data (sample size = 600), the following probability distribution can be estimated:

Probability 0 Half Elixirs 1 Half Elixir 2 Half Elixirs Pots / Quest AP / Quest
Low estimate 76.8 % 21.7 % 1.5 % 0.25 18.75
Medium estimate 72.7 % 25.1 % 2.2 % 0.3 22.5
High estimate 68.7 % 28.4 % 2.9 % 0.34 25.5

Conclusion

Based on current data this quest provides an AP-positive means to farm light-element treasures and Half Elixirs for the first 300 runs, after which it becomes only slightly AP-positive. Additional data (sample size = 2702) gathered by Midokuni suggests an average of 0.3079 pots per run using Kaguya (Summon) as a main summon with mainhand Damascus Knife. While it is possible to go slightly AP-Negative or AP-Neutral for short periods of time - the long term average will be AP-positive according to Nadya with any combination of drop-rate boosting summons (White Rabbit, Black Rabbit, Nobiyo, Kaguya (Summon)) combined with the Weather Vane Crew Skill and the Boost to Item Drop Rates Journey Drop.
