A Ballad of Unbending Chivalry - Chapter 6: Sticking to Your Guns - Episode 1

At the hospital, the crew decides on a plan to have Yuisis take over the Ditoria Knights as its new boss. In the days leading up to the showdown with Arrogante, Elea teaches Yuisis the ultimate technique in Ditoria-style swordsmanship.

(Captain) and company have pledged their assistance to Yuisis.
They are now back at the hospital, discussing their next move.
Yuisis: Say, Elea, do you think the Ditoria Knights that El's currently built up can beat the Eligoth Knights?
Elea: Can't be sure since I don't know their exact size, but I'm leaning towards no.
Elea: The Eligoth Knights isn't only a massive organization, but its members aren't afraid to get rough.
Yuisis: There's only one solution then.
Yuisis: Let's go find El so we can bust some heads.
Vyrn: Whoa! Slow down there, Crazy Girl!
Yuisis: That's what it's gonna take to beat the Eligoth.
Yuisis: An all-out war between the two gangs is already in the cards.
Yuisis: And Ditoria's chances of winnin' may as well be goose eggs.
Yuisis: Of course, that changes once you add us to the picture.
Elea: I see what you mean. But I doubt El would welcome us with open arms.
Vyrn: Course not. She'd sooner bump us off than accept our help.
Yuisis: I know. That's why I need to finally clear the air between El and me.
Yuisis: It's time to take back both the sword and my family.
Yuisis: Our combined forces just might stand a chance against Arrogante.
Elea: You plan on wresting control from El?
Yuisis: Mm-hm. The Luceria Knights are made up of former Ditoria members anyway.
Yuisis: As far as I know, El cleaned up the traitors in their ranks when she became leader...
Yuisis: But beyond that, her group was meant to be a successor to the Ditoria Knights.
Yuisis: And now she's even gathered the old members who had been disbanded.
Yuisis: I don't find it out of place for me to be at the top.
Yuisis: After all, I'm Wendt's daughter... The true successor to the Ditoria Knights.
Elea: For sure. I don't think anyone would question your authority on that.
Elea: I'm just saying our chances at gaining control of the family don't look too great, given our numbers.
Elea: El's mustered quite a big group, and we can't forget she has Icas on her side.
Yuisis: Well...
Elea: While I don't disagree with your reasoning for going to the mattresses, it seems precarious to leave the actual showdown to a very slim chance.
Elea: Without a plan, it's easy to imagine things going south.
Yuisis: I'm all out of ideas. And it's not like we have time either...
Elea: We need someone who's not afraid to go cause a ruckus.
Elea: Meanwhile the main force—led by you—goes after El.
Elea: That's the best solution I can think of.
Yuisis: I can't exactly ask for volunteers to go take a bullet...
Elea: Don't you see, Yuisis? You've got the perfect candidate right in front of you.
Yuisis: Elea, you don't mean...
Elea: I'll be the bait... and take on Icas while I'm at it.
Elea: The rest of you make a beeline to El.
Elea: This plan would result in the lowest number of casualties, with a decent chance of success.
Yuisis: I-I can't believe you're sayin' this, Elea!
Lyria: Y-yeah! You need more time to recover, Elea!
Lyria: Sending you out alone in your state would be...
Elea: I don't mind. In fact, I don't even deserve to be alive right now.
Elea: Please, Yuisis. Allow me to make this sacrifice for your sake.
Vyrn: Not in a million years!
Lyria: Yeah, you need to value your own life more!
Elea: Do you have any other ideas then?
Lyria: Well, I can call on primal beasts...
Elea: Not an option.
Elea: As powerful as your primals are, you need time to summon them.
Elea: I could cut you down faster than you could summon. And the same goes for Icas.
Lyria: ...!
Lyria's face turns pale as she recalls the moment Icas almost struck her down.
Elea: And let's not forget this raid is only the first step. There's still the battle with Arrogante afterwards.
Elea: That's why we have to minimize our losses as much as possible.
Elea: To do that, a quick skirmish is the most viable option.
Elea: If we were to gather an army and drag this battle out...
Elea: Everyone would be too tired to take on the Eligoth Knights later on.
Elea: That would be the worst-case scenario.
Not intent on sending Elea off to battle alone, the crew tries to debate her.
But silence fills the air, for none can think of a logical counterpoint.
Yuisis: I only ask one thing of you, Elea... Promise me you'll come back alive.
Elea: That's gonna be a tough one...
Yuisis: I don't want to lose any more family.
Yuisis: And like I said, I wanna rebuild the Ditoria Knights with all of you. That includes you, Elea.
Yuisis: So...
Elea: Understood. No promises, but I'll definitely give it my best shot.
Elea: Which reminds me... Yuisis, do you have another weapon you can use?
Yuisis: Yeah, it's something I used to use a long time ago.
Yuisis produces a sword from her belongings.
Elea: Great. I'd like to train you a bit before we head out.
Yuisis: Why do I need training all of a sudden? If anything, you should be back in bed resting up.
Elea: I need to explain how Arrogante fights...
Elea: And also to teach you the Ditoria Style's ultimate technique...
Yuisis: ...!
Elea: Master it, and I guarantee it'll come in handy against Arrogante.
Yuisis: Okay then. Show me, Elea.
Yuisis shoots Elea a serious look...
Suggesting her willingness to learn whatever Elea has to teach her.
