Originally creatures from a forsaken world known as Abyssea, this is a general term used to define unidentifiable monsters. Shinryu absorbed primal beast Chrysis and created these monstrous foot soldiers to ensure a steady stream of conflict on the battlefield. In doing so, Chrysis's power as it relates to war can be preserved.
