A major in the Amestrisian armed forces and a State Alchemist known as "Strong Arm." He defeats his enemies with the prestigious Armstrong family's alchemy and his formidable hand-to-hand combat skills. Despite his muscular appearance, he is deeply compassionate and easily moved to tears, with a kind heart that won't allow him to turn a blind eye those in need—something the Elric brothers have benefited from many times on their journey.
