A survivor of Avalon's dragonkind, whom were thought to have been extinct. Cuelebre possesses the ability of illusion, where he can manipulate light reflected off of his unique scales to show or conceal himself.
In the battle that brought the fall of Avalon, he lost his eyes—a very important organ for dragons. Feigning his death, he took an oath to isolate himself from the outside world in order to conceal one of the stakes sealing Megatherion.
The phantomdragon once sheltered a pregnant woman who wandered into his barrier, bestowing his protection onto the child that was born, Siegfried.
Cuelebre is peaceful by nature and has been able to keep his sanity despite the long years of solitude, though his emotions have grown slightly dull. Intrinsically, he enjoys talking and entertainment, often conversing with the fairies when Avalon was still standing.
