Born Diamant Jannat, he is a prince of direct lineage from the old Jannat royal family. He originally led an illegal underworld organization, using his alchemy to command a group of thugs and work as hired muscle. But after Greed seized control, Diamant became his devoted follower and subordinate. He had also been working to thwart a covert plan to produce a philosopher's stone on Jannat Island.
