Jimbei, also known as First Son of the Sea Jimbei, is a whale shark Fish-Man whose grasp of the sea currents has made his friends' journey a smoother—though not necessarily less treacherous—ride. As an expert in Fish-Man karate, he can easily turn the tide of battle. People on his home island call him Boss out of respect for his commanding and honorable disposition.
