A third-year student at a suburban junior high school. Having sat next to Aoto for their first year in junior high, the two became fast friends. He supports Aoto in every way possible, despite often being flabbergasted by his unquestioning good-naturedness. While he often grumbles at his overly strict track-and-field club advisor, he still regularly joins the club—advisor included—in going out for meals on their days off. Having an older sister in the workforce who's not related by blood, his family situation is a bit complicated.
