Narmaya's mother. Laruna helps run a dojo with her husband, Gamshira. While Gamshira officially serves as the dojo's master, Laruna herself is a skilled martial artist and often takes charge of instructing beginners—particularly women and children who need a gentler introduction to the martial arts.
Outside of training, Laruna enjoys creating original recipes. Her dishes are remarkable in both flavor and presentation, and they've earned praise not only from the dojo's students but from the island's residents as well. When she hosts a monthly meal for the students, the dojo is filled with visitors hoping to taste her cooking.
Recently, people who pass through the dojo have noticed that both Laruna and Gamshira seem to smile more than they used to. Many quietly speculate that something wonderful must have happened lately.
