The son of Madam Wenzi, the landowner of Chisui Village, he spent many years away and is known to the residents as her wayward son. The accessories he wears are lucky charms acquired during his travels. His aloof demeanor and cryptic way of speaking stem from his bad habit of skipping over details and cutting his words short, making even his sincere warnings seem dubious and putting others on guard. He was among the first to notice something was amiss with Madam Wenzi, but his poor way of conveying it meant no one listened. After the incident in the village, he built a grave for his mother on the site of the burned-down mansion and is said to visit it every day.
