A detective fabricated for the best-selling Detective Report series. Though he is not given a name in the series, fans call him Mirage as he appears in several cases simultaneously and his face is always hidden behind a mask. Mirage's actions are so inconsistent that fans have created a theory that multiple Mirages exist. Unlike the other detectives that appear in the series, Mirage is not based on a real person, and his story is instead an amalgamation of various cases that were not considered interesting enough to have an entire book dedicated to them.
