Side Story: Detective Barawa and the Jewel Resort Incident

Detective Barawa and the Jewel Resort Incident has been added to the side stories at 6 p.m., Mar 28, 2018 (JST).

  • Clear the following quest to unlock the new side story.

    Main quest chapter 24: "The Immortal Beast"

  • Story

    Chat Noir's calling card has been delivered to the Jewel Resort Casino. To thwart the Phantom Thief, the casino employees call upon Chat Noir's rival, the self-proclaimed great Detective Barawa. Will the detective and his assistant, Sarya, be able to protect the casino?

  • Sarya joins your party. <img src="/assets_en/img/sp/banner/notice/event032_news_2.png" width="248"> 
              By raising Sarya's level and clearing all of her fate episodes, she will learn a new skill.
  • Journal Reset 
    Upon adding this side story, the quests cleared in the past same-name event were reset.
    Along with resetting the cleared quests, the related entries will be removed from the Journal Archive.
  • Journal 
       The following two entries were added to the journal archive. They can be unlocked by clearing certain episodes.

    • Clear chapter 5: "Wine Will Tell" to unlock Sarya's Casebook.

    • Clear chapter 6: "Suicide in Retrospect" to unlock Chat Noir's Perfume.

    These episodes need to be cleared again to unlock the entries even if you have cleared them in the previous run of Detective Barawa and the Jewel Resort Incident.
  • Special Quests 
               Complete the story to play special quests of this side story.

    Clear the special quests to get treasure that can be traded for exclusive items.

    The special quests are normal- and hard-difficulty solo battles.

    • Machina Soldier Showdown (Normal)
    • Mammon Showdown (Hard)


  • Special Quest Treasure 
               Treasure picked up from this side story can be traded for exclusive items from the Treasure section of the Detective Barawa and the Jewel Resort Incident screen.
  • Mystery Quest

    Take up the mystery challenge from the Phantom Thief Chat Noir! Clear the puzzles to get an exclusive item.

    If the puzzles are too hard to solve, tap the See the Answer button on the puzzle screen.
  • Mystery Quest Treasure

    Clear the mystery quest to get a thief's map.

    Thief's Map:

    Thief's map falls under the category of Wonders. Once picked up from the crate, it gives 1% boost to grand success rate for upgrading an item.

  • Changes from the Previous Run

    • Loyalty bonus that could be earned from clearing the mystery quest for the fist time was removed.

    • Answers to the puzzles can now be viewed on the puzzle screen. Hints to the puzzles were deleted.

    • Once the game has been updated, a notice to that effect might appear in game repeatedly.

    If images are displayed incorrectly after the update, try clearing your mobile device's cache to resolve them.
