Aug 3 (JST) Update
The game was updated at 7:05 p.m., Aug 3, 2018 (JST). Details of the update are as follows.
Updates
- A dialog box that guides you to each clip of Journey into Granblue Fantasy Video will now appear based on your game progression.

- In the journal, items of the same rarity will be ordered by release date, starting with the earliest.
Change
- Katalina (Grand)'s charge attack effect Boost to water ATK will now take effect simultaneously with the weapon Wand of Gabriel's charge attack effect.
There is no change to the amount of the effect's boost. Upon this change, some Boost to water ATK effects may no longer take effect simultaneously with Katalina (Grand)'s charge attack effect.
Fixed Issues
- Plain DMG from Ilsa (Summer)'s skill Hellfire Club not being reduced against foes that have plain DMG resistance
- Certain animations for Arulumaya (Earth) not playing properly
- Animations and icons for skill effects that affect other parties not playing or displaying when those effects don't take effect on the caster's party
- Characters' HP exceeding the max HP upon reviving in some cases when they are under an effect that affects characters' max HP
- Certain summons' upgraded call effect taking effect for combo calls even they haven't been uncapped enough to use the upgraded call
- Not being redirected to each character's extended mastery screen by selecting a character when using a ring from the supplies' Item tab
- Music not playing properly on certain side stories' top page
- The number of foes defeated not counting up correctly in some cases in the event Bzzt! Amped-Up Summer's expeditions
- Items that can't be obtained displayed on the journal's Field Notes screen
Once the game has been updated, a notice to that effect might appear in game repeatedly.
If images are displayed incorrectly after the update, try clearing your mobile device's cache to resolve them.
