About the Unite and Fight Access Issue
The game has been experiencing server connection issues multiple times during the Unite and Fight event period. Details of the issues are as follows.
From 8:20 p.m., May 19 (JST), the game has been experiencing slow server responses, and emergency maintenance took place from 9:08 p.m. to 9:38 p.m., and from 10:14 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., May 19 (JST).
Through investigation, we confirmed that the data load of the support summon feature was causing slow responses from the server. In the May 16 update, the mechanism of friends' support summons has changed, which enabled consecutive use of the same summon. Due to this change, the data communication upon calculating the support summon rupie reward unexpectedly rose.
To solve this problem, the support summon mechanism has been reverted temporarily in the emergency maintenance that took place at 10:14 p.m., May 19 (JST).
The server response delay was temporarily resolved, but later the data load greatly increased as more accessed the game, which caused the server delay issue once again.
Considering the fact that the game has been unplayable for multiple times during the Unite and Fight event period, we have decided to extend the prelims period until 11:59 p.m. May 21 (JST). The event schedule change has been made during the maintenance that took place from 11:31 p.m., May 20 to 12 midnight, May 21 (JST).
To prevent recurrence of the issue, precautionary modifications to reduce the data load have been implemented to the game in the latest update. However, the server delay may reoccur due to unexpected issues.
In the event of another emergency maintenance due to server issues, the prelims period will abruptly end, and the prelims' results will be determined based on the honors earned by then.
We have received many requests to extend the finals period, but considering the risk of further issues that may be caused by the sudden schedule adjustment, we have decided not to change the finals period regardless of future conditions.
