The game was updated at 6:35 p.m., Dec 3, 2019 (JST). Details of the update are as follows.

Updates

• The GBF Handbook has been added to the Help section. This guide will help you learn how to create a strong party and where to get the characters and equipment for it.

  Character Map

  You can find characters that will join you through side stories and the requirements to get them on the character map. Set one of them as your goal!

  When you try to access a main quest chapter you haven't reached via the character map, you will be redirected to the home screen. This will be changed to redirect you to your last main quest chapter unlocked in a future update.

  The page scroll on the Character Map screen will be adjusted in a future update.

  Equipment Templates

  You can see various build templates for each element. Find a build that you want to aim for, and set it as your goal!
  By tapping the Equip to a Party button, you can create a party similar to the template with the equipment you currently own.

  Equipment Search

  You can look up recommended weapons and summons and find out where you can obtain them. Set one of them as your goal!

  Setting a Goal

  You can select a character, weapon, summon, or build to set as your goal. The details of your set goal can be checked via the banner on the home screen.

Fixed Issue

• Battle becoming unprocessable in some cases when Beatrix (Earth) uses the skill Exaltation while her battle pose is changed from default

Once the game has been updated, a notice to that effect will appear in game.
If images are displayed incorrectly after the update, try clearing your mobile device's cache to resolve them.
