Arcarum: The World Beyond is now underway!

Story

The keeper of causality wakes from slumber eternal.
Called forth are the astral beasts, weavers of fate.
When the two and twenty fragments of destiny assemble, the world will be formed anew.

About the Event

Arcarum: The World Beyond is a four-day event where participants are assigned to one of three alliances to battle for control of territory on a map.

There are four rounds of battle per day. Control the most areas to win a round.

Event Times

7 a.m., Sep 16–11 p.m., Sep 19 (JST)

Round 1: 7 a.m.–9:30 a.m. (JST)
Round 2: 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. (JST)
Round 3: 4 p.m.–6:30 p.m. (JST)
Round 4: 8:30 p.m.–11 p.m. (JST)

Changes From the Sneak Peek
  • Round length has been shortened from four hours to two hours, thirty minutes.
  • Each round has been split into two halves of sixty minutes, with a thirty minute interlude in-between. 
              No battles can be started during interludes.
  • The requirement for restoring strongholds has been changed. Instead of waiting, alliances can now restore their stronghold by earning a set amount of might marks. 
               During the sneak peek, players couldn't do anything following the fall of their stronghold. In the current event, players can start solo battles without spending TP after the fall of their stronghold. When they earn a set amount, their stronghold will be restored.

    
           Strongholds can't be invaded for five minutes following restoration. After restoring their stronghold, all players in the alliance get a sephira stone as loot.
  • A segment of Elite players are now chosen to be Alliance Masters.
  • Tactical powers, usable only by Alliance Masters and Elites, have been added.
    •            Tactical powers provide beneficial effects to help sway the tide of battle in an alliance's favor.

    
           Alliance Masters can choose any two tactical powers at the beginning of the event, while Elites all have access to the same, single tactical power.
    Elites no longer have the ability to restore TP.

    Tactical powers can be activated by tapping Tactical Power on the Arcarum home screen or map screens.

    • Elite evals have been added. 
                 Elite evals allow you to vote for the Alliance Master or Elite who you think contributed the most during a round to earn verum proofs.
      Alliance Masters and Elites can earn verum proofs depending on the number of votes they receive from their fellow players.

    Elite evals can be accessed by tapping Elite Evals on the Arcarum home screen.

    • A list of areas and buttons for quick navigation has been added to the Arcarum home screen.

    • A new Arcarum category has been added to the trophy screen. 
                 The category for the Call of the Arcarum trophy, earned by participating in the sneak peek, has been changed from ??? to Arcarum.
    Future Updates
    • English Version 
                Parts of the English version remain untranslated. These will be translated in a future update.
    • The following changes are planned for a future update. Sep 21, 2016:
      Adding an Arcarum: The World Beyond screen to the shop, where players will be able to upgrade the Arcarum card they receive from the oracle chosen at the beginning of the event.

      Players will be able to use treasure earned from the event to upgrade the Arcarum and eventually obtain it as a summon to use in battle.
                 Sep 21, 2016: Adding an Arcarum category to the People section of the Journal, where you'll be able to read about characters encountered during the event and replay story scenes.
