The game was updated at 5 p.m., Dec 7, 2022 (JST). Details of the update are as follows.

Updates

• A new boss, Kikuri, has been added to Pride of the Ascendant.

             About Pride of the Ascendant
  
                 These will be some of the most intense solo quests you've ever seen in the game. There are Proud and Proud+ difficulties. 
  
  

  As a continuation of Season 2 of Pride of the Ascendant, Kikuri will also be a Battle System 2.0 battle.
  

                 
  
             Loot
  
                 Clear Pride of the Ascendant for the first time to receive an azure accolade from the Proud difficulty, and a cloud commendation from the Proud+ difficulty. 
  

  You will not get item drops or EXP from this quest.

                 
  
             Unlock Requirements
  
                 • Clear the Pride of the Ascendant quest Echidna (Proud+)
  
  

  Meeting the above requirements will unlock the Lvl 200 Kikuri quest in South Cliff, Dydroit Belt (main quest chapter 69).

                 
  
             Battle Tips
  
                 Kikuri has very high fire resistance, so it will take careful planning to deal DMG successfully. The formidable primal beast will use their special attack to apply Destiny Pledge to an ally. Fire allies with Destiny Pledge ignore the boss's fire resistance, allowing them to deal lots of DMG.
  
  
                 Plan a strategy to make a fire ally become Kikuri's target and get the Destiny Pledge effect to turn the battle in your favor!
  

The following criteria were added to Reserve > Auto Select.

           • Skill Shard

           • Skill Jewel

           • Auto-Reserved Weapons

Weapons with AX skills will not be selected.

The following criteria were added to Crate > Weapon > Unload Loot.

           • Skill Shard

           • Skill Jewel

           • Auto-Reserved Weapons

Weapons with AX skills will not be selected.

When no rarity criteria is selected, auto-reserved weapons will be selected from weapons of rarities N through SR, including those with skill shards and skill jewels used.

Auto-reserve can now be toggled on for weapons that were reserved on the reserve results pop-up.

One perpetuity ring has been added to the stock of the shop's Treasure Trade in the Mastery Bonus Items section.

Once the game has been updated, a notice to that effect will appear in game.
If images are displayed incorrectly after the update, try clearing your mobile device's cache to resolve them.
