Rise of the Beasts Underway!

Rise of the Beasts started at 5 p.m., Apr 21, 2024 (JST).

Cardinal Saints

Cardinal Saints are characters that you can recruit into your crew by progressing in Rise of the Beasts.
To recruit a Cardinal Saint, unlock their fate episode by raising the corresponding Beast weapon's level to 200.

Chichiri

       Chichiri, the Cardinal Saint tasked with defeating Zhuque, makes her debut!


       Chichiri is an adept attacker that excels at dealing damage via skills, and she also brings a powerful debuff that can help stymie a foe's attacks!


       Her support skill grants a 10% boost to Ironflame's weapon skills, so including her in a party with Colossus Omega or weapons with Ironflame's skills is sure to give you the advantage in battle!

       

           How to Recruit

           Chichiri can be recruited into your crew by upgrading the Beast weapon Garnet Broadaxe to lvl 200 and unlocking her fate episode.

           The treasure item masterless yupei, which can be obtained as battle badge loot, is required to start Chichiri's fate episode.

Event Loot

Zhurong's Yupei

           Zhurong's Yupei is one of the four Cardinal Saint yupei wonders which grants bonuses to fire characters just by being in your possession!

           New bonuses will be added as you upgrade it!

           

           Unlock Chichiri's true potential by upgrading Zhurong's Yupei! Raise the yupei's level to unlock a new fate episode and grant Chichiri even greater strength!

           

           How to Obtain

           Zhurong's Yupei can be obtained after upgrading Garnet Broadaxe to level 200 and clearing Chichiri's fate episode.

           

           Upgrading Zhurong's Yupei

           Zhurong's Yupei's level will rise automatically as time passes.

           The time it takes to upgrade Zhurong's Yupei can be reduced by offering the treasure items Ling Guang Truefeather or Southern Godfeather.

           

           The above treasure items drop as loot in the Agni and Shenxian Showdown battles.

Masterless Yupei

           Obtain masterless yupei as battle badge loot and use it to start a Cardinal Saint's fate episode and have them join your crew!

           

           How to Obtain

           Get masterless yupei by defeating Zhuque.

           One masterless yupei is planned to be added to each category of battle badge loot gradually, excluding Shenxian.

           Each masterless yupei can only be obtained once from its battle badge loot category, and therefore won't display as badge loot in future runs of Rise of the Beast once picked up.

Event-Exclusive Weapons

           Obtain powerful weapons with Omega Might II skills that give your allies a big boost to ATK!

           

           Omega skills are boosted by the element's respective Omega summon. You can boost your ATK even further with the Progression II skill that unlocks at lvl 120!

           Clear battles to obtain Four Symbols pendants that can be traded for more event-exclusive weapons.

Additional Weapon Skill

         You can add a second skill to the following weapons by using a cipher. 


         The second skill's effect will differ based on the item used. The choice is yours!

       An item that can unlock a character's permanent mastery bonuses!

The Four Symbols Stones needed to trade can be obtained with Shenxian Battle Badges.

Gold Brick

       An item that can uncap an SSR weapon. It is also required when recruiting an Eternal!

           Where to Trade

          The above items can be traded in the Treasure Trade section.

Tap Power-Ups tab, tap Power-Ups in the pull-down menu, and then Uncap Items.

The Four Symbols Stones needed to trade can be obtained with Shenxian Battle Badges.

Eternity Sand

       This special treasure is required to transcend the summons Bahamut and Lucifer and uncap New World Foundation weapons!


           Where to Trade

           The above items can be traded in the Treasure Trade section.

Tap Treasure, then tap Rise of the Beasts in the pull-down menu.

The Four Symbols Stones needed to trade can be obtained with Shenxian Battle Badges.

Five Bai pure soulcores have each been added to the stock of the Four Symbols trade.

Shenxian (Impossible)

Each time the crystal's sparkle reaches its peak, the Impossible raid can be played one additional time.
If you reach rank 120 during the event, the number of times the crystal's sparkle has reached its peak before that will be added to the number of attempts available.

The number of attempts available will be reset each run.
The more honors you get, the more Four Symbols pendants you'll get.
The higher the boss's remaining HP when you join a raid, the more Four Symbols pendants you'll get.
The rising beast crystal will not sparkle brighter by joining or discovering raid battles.

Proud and Proud+ Quests

These quests can be cleared only once during the event period, and can be retried until cleared.

No elixirs can be used.

Unlock Requirements

Each Proud quest will unlock by clearing the corresponding Extreme raid battle solo and within 1 turn.

The first turn ends when the Attack button appears again after tapping it once.

The Proud+ quest will unlock by clearing all four Proud quests.
Quest Reset

The Proud and Proud+ quests need to be unlocked for each run of the event.
Their completion loot has also been reset.
Even if you've cleared them once, you can obtain the loot again by clearing them again in the next run.

Event Raid Battles

Fight in other players' raid battles or start your own. You'll be able to use the rising beast crystal's sparkle to attract even stronger bosses.
Up to 30 players can participate in battles against bosses that are attracted using rising beast crystals.
The crystal attracts different bosses at different times.
The more honors you get in raid battles, the more Four Symbols pendants you will get.
EP required to join raid battles differs based on the boss's remaining HP. The higher the HP is, the more EP is required.

Depending on the amount of EP used, your party will gain an entry timing bonus which boosts stats or the amount of Four Symbols pendants obtainable from that battle. Details of the boosts are as follows.

When Joining an Extreme+ Raid Battle with 3 EP
Boost to ATK, max HP, and the amount of Four Symbols pendants

When Joining an Extreme+ Raid Battle with 2 EP
Boost to ATK and max HP

When Joining an Extreme Raid Battle with 2 EP
Boost to the amount of Four Symbols pendants

No entry timing bonus will be applied if you join a raid battle with 1 EP regardless of the battle's difficulty.

Changes from the Previous Run

The Normal, Hard, and Very Hard difficulty solo battles have been removed.
Attempts can now be stocked for Extreme+ battles.
Settings have been added for enabling or disabling the pop-up that displays for Extreme+ battles and Shenxian Showdown.
Settings have been added to enable or disable the pop-up that displays when an Extreme+ quest or Shenxian Showdown appears.

            Changing Settings

            Settings can be changed on the Rise of the Beasts event screen by tapping Extra > Misc. Settings > Pop-Up Settings, or in the Misc. Settings in the Extreme+ Pop-Up.

The maximum number of Four Symbols pendants that can be held has been increased from 100,000 to 200,000.
Pendants obtained from daily missions and clear rewards will now ignore the maximum limit that can be held.
Loot for up to 130 battle badges has been added to battle badge loot for defeating Zhuque.
Loot for up to 200 battle badges has been added to battle badge loot for clearing Shenxian Showdown.
The following items were added to Treasure > Rise of the Beasts in the treasure trade.

Archangel weapons will now drop as loot from Maniac battles.
The amount of archangel weapons that drop from Impossible battles has been decreased.
The amount of Four Symbols pendants that drop as discoverer loot from Impossible battles has been increased.
The following items were added as drop loot in the Lvl 90 Agni and Impossible battles.
