The Many Lives of Cats has been added to side stories.

Story

       A young cat living in captivity encounters an outsider named Sen and her free cats who awaken his slumbering desire for liberty.

Unlock Requirements

  Clear the following to unlock this side story:


       • Main quest chapter 24: The Immortal Beast

Event Character

Young Cat

           Have allies restore his HP and apply buffs on him for a chance to improve his mood and boost allies' charge bars and healing specs!

           Taking damage will put him in a bad mood, so make sure to protect him with effects like Substitute and Mirror Image!

Young Cat's element will correspond to that of the main character.

           Play through the episode that appears after completing the side story to have Young Cat join your party.

Choose the cat's name!

           After clearing the ending, you will be able to play an episode where you can choose the name of the cat from a list of suggested names.

           You only get one chance to name him, so make it count!

Young Cat's name can't be changed if it was chosen in a previous run of the event.

Customize Young Cat's Fur Pattern

           Clear the special quest to get treasure and customize Young Cat's fur pattern!


           Customization Options

           Milky White Shorthair

           Black with Golden Eyes

           Ginger Tabby

Fur patterns can be viewed from the Outfit tab on the Inventory screen.

To customize Young Cat's fur pattern, tap the Pose button or the Appearance button on his character details screen.

Completion Rewards

Clear the ending to get the SSR weapon Cat's Tail, and clear the free quests to get the SSR summon Cat Parade!

The SSR weapon will be level 100, and the SSR summon will be uncapped three times (level will be 1) at the point they're obtained. These rewards will be sent to your crate.

Weapon Skill Effects


       Skill 1:  Big boost to earth allies' ATK

       Skill 2 (learns at lvl 100): When main weapon (MC only): Boost to multiattack rate and dodge rate

Cat Parade (Summon)

Aura Effect


           70% boost to earth ATK (Boost lowers based on turns passed [Down to: 30%])

Massive earth DMG to all foes / Charm effect / Restore all allies' HP




Loot
Treasure earned from the quests can be traded for loot such as SSR items and Premium draw tickets. Tap Treasure on the side story page to see the list of other loot.


• Premium Draw Ticket

     Draw and get weapons and summons with Premium draw tickets. Some weapons may unlock new characters!
  

Event Skip Function
Those who have cleared the ending of the event's previous run can skip to the ending of this side story.


• How to Skip

             If all requirements to skip have been fulfilled, a pop-up with the option to use the skip function will appear after tapping the side story banner for the first time.
  
             The side story can be skipped by tapping the Skip button, or viewed again by tapping View Story on the skip confirmation pop-up.
  
             If a side story has been completed previously, it can be skipped at any time by tapping on the Skip icon on the side story main screen.
  

• Loot

             All loot from the side story can be obtained even when using the skip function.
  

Changes from the Previous Run
• Journal Details

         Upon adding this side story, the quests cleared in the original run of the same-name event were reset.
  

  Details in the journal won't be reset.
• Quests

              Complete the story to play the Normal and Hard free quests of this side story. Treasure used to trade for loot can be obtained from the free quests.
