The current high priest of the Sable Island Holy Order, an organization which serves as a central authority for the villages scattered across the island. He became a priest at a young age and grew up grappling with the harsh realities of this resource-starved desert country. As a result, he is willing to make harsh decisions for the benefit of the island's development. Despite being Sara's guardian since she reached the age of reason, he has always seen her sacrifice as Priestess of the Dunes as a necessity.
