A mythical beast with a body that appears half-mortal and half-beast. Ortrud wanders the island without a designated home. Regardless of one's origin, she blesses those she acknowledges with her protection, while cursing those consumed by the darkness of despair with destructive power.
Upon bestowing a trial on Vane, Ortrud acknowledges the knight's straightforward spirit and resolve, granting him armor and a weapon that serves as proof of the Astrals' oath.
Ortrud is on good relations with Viviane, often using Camlann's lake as her perch. On the other hand, she does not get along with Cath Palug of Wales, resulting in quarrels whenever the two meet face-to-face.
