A combat form assumed by the clan's elder tanuki—survivors who have lived since the calamity a millennium ago. By using the first chieftain's ashes—another clan treasure—to amplify their shapeshifting powers, and by drawing strength from the rest of the clan, they are finally able to take this form. It was created to battle the return of the ancient calamity, Ninetails, and its appearance and power are said to closely mirror those of the first chieftain.
