A gentle and courteous girl who runs an inn in Chisui Village with her grandfather, the village chief. Well-versed in the medicinal herbs that grow nearby and the village's long-standing traditions, her compassion for others led her to willingly accept her fate when she was chosen as a sacrifice to appease the Makunagi's curse. The ensuing turmoil forced her to confront the village's past sins and entrenched customs, and she resolved to reexamine their meaning and build a new Chisui Village in connection with the outside world.
