One Remedy Coming Up!

While trying to deliver medicine, the crew finds thugs wreaking havoc in the name of hunting monsters. They try to stop this and are forced to fight monsters as a result.

Jasmine: What a wonderful town! But it's quite a mess... Was it attacked by monsters?
Jasmine: But there are no forests or plains around here. I don't think I'll find any fresh acorns...
Vyrn: I think we have bigger problems here than acorn shortages!
Vyrn: I mean, where is everybody? I don't see a single townsperson.
Jasmine: What am I going to do now? I promised I'd deliver medicine to the defense force here.
Lyria: You have to keep your promise! Is anyone here?
Katalina: I suspect that everyone is hiding indoors. It seems like they're scared of something...
Rackam: Hmm? Check it out, (Captain). It looks like only the tavern is bustling.
Jasmine: That's a relief. Now I can deliver the medicine!
Thug: Heh! What a crummy little joint!
Hey, where's my refill! Hm? What? You're all outta booze?
Jasmine: Excuse me... I'm here to deliver medicine. Do you know where I could find the defense force?
Rackam: Hey, what do you think you're doing? Don't you know a villain when you see one? Those guys are obviously bad news!
Thug: Who are you calling a villain?
Thug: You got us all wrong. We're hunting the monsters because our defense force is useless!
Jasmine: Oh my! Protecting the townspeople from the monsters... You truly are wonderful... villains!
Thug: That's right. So if you make us mad, who's going to protect the town from the monsters?
Rackam: I see how it is. Under the pretense of protection, you get to run roughshod over the town. Pretty sleazy.
Katalina: Rackam! Why are you asking for trouble?
Katalina: Lyria, stay behind (Captain).
Lyria: How exciting!
Thug: What are you going on about? You better get outta here unless you wanna be carried out!
Vyrn: We don't have time to waste here! Oh, geez... Here come the monsters!
Jasmine: Oh my! Looks like it's time for the great villains to do their duty! Good luck with your monster hunting!
Thug: Eek! What's with that monster? It's totally different from the others! I can't fight that!
Katalina: Looks like this dog was more bark than bite... (Captain), let's make this quick!

One Remedy Coming Up!: Scene 2

More monsters appear, causing the thugs to flee. To defend the townspeople, (Captain) and company stand up to the monsters again.

Jasmine: Oh, villains! (Captain) defeated the monsters already.
Jasmine: Oh my... What are you all doing hiding there? Did you find some acorns?
Thug: Huff... Huff... Damn you, swine! No one said anything about having to deal with monsters like that!
Rackam: How pathetic! I thought you were taking over for the defense force?
Jasmine: How wonderful! That means I can deliver the medicine to you instead of the defense force.
Vyrn: Didn't we tell you to stay away from these thugs? You really have no sense of self-preservation, Miss Herbalist.
Katalina: Hmm? Look. There's a whole pack of monsters this time. (Captain), we don't have any time to waste on these villains.
Vyrn: This is going to be trouble... There are a lot of them.
Thug: Ahhhh! W-we can't win against that!
Jasmine: But isn't this your job? I hope you'll actually do it, this time.
Jasmine: Don't worry! Even if you get hurt, I'll be here to perform first aid!
Thug: Forget that! If those things get us, there'll be nothing left to bandage! We're outta here!
Jasmine: Now what do we do? The villains all ran away. There's no one left to protect the townspeople!
Lyria: This is bad! There are a whole bunch of monsters in the direction they headed!
Katalina: What a useless lot. Looks like we have to deal with the monsters ourselves. Ready, (Captain)?
Rackam: Geez. They're all talk. (Captain)! Let's go hunt some monsters!

One Remedy Coming Up!: Scene 3

(Captain) and company defeat the monsters, so the band of thugs have no reason to stay. The villains were also injured, but Jasmine kindly nurses them back to health—physically and spiritually.

Rackam: Hey, scuzzbuckets! All the monsters in town are gone, courtesy of (Captain).
Rackam: And that means there's no reason for the townspeople to obey you anymore.
Thug: Damn it! I don't want to stay in this crummy town anyway!
Rackam: Heh! Such big talk... I'm sure you'll be fine! Now do some urban beautification and get outta town!
Thug: You'll live to regret this! Gaaah!
Jasmine: Well, what do you expect if you get up when you're hurt like that? Let me take a look.
Thug: This is stupid... Why are you tending to us? You should just leave thugs like us alone.
Jasmine: No matter how evil they may be, I can't ignore someone if they're hurt. Where else are you in pain?
Vyrn: Come on... Just splash on something that stings and call it a day! You're way too kind!
Vyrn: Hm? What's that, (Captain)? You say her kindness is what makes her so special? Ha ha! Maybe!
Lyria: Jasmine has stinging medicine? I-I'm not hurt! I don't need any first aid!
Katalina: Ha ha, calm down, Lyria. You can't let a little thing like that scare you.
Vyrn: Hey, you villains! Our captain says you better not let Miss Herbalist's kindness go to waste!
Jasmine: If you're naughty again, you're in for a taste of some very, very bitter medicine! Hehe.
With the help of (Captain) and company, peace returns to the town.
Jasmine's medicine is safely delivered to the defense force, helping to heal wounds from both monsters and thugs.
Even the villains find that Jasmine's ministrations have healed more than their wounds—a new light has been kindled in each of their hearts.
