Journey of the Horn
Mimlemel and Lyria are enjoying a mini-concert on the deck of the Grandcypher until her horn breaks. They decide to head back to Mimlemel's forest to look for wood for repairs.
Lyria: Lalala... Shalala...
Mimlemel: Too-too-tootle!
Lyria and Mimlemel's musical performance echoes across the deck as the Grandcypher cuts through the sky.
Vyrn: Hehe! You guys go well together!
Mimlemel: Toot!
Lyria: Heehee! Mimlemel's music is so fun to listen to!
Mimlemel: Too-too-tootle!
Mimlemel: Toot-too... Too...
Mimlemel: Hm?
Vyrn: Huh? What's wrong? It sounds weird...
Mimlemel: Too... Too...
Mimlemel: What's going on...
Mimlemel: Too... Pfftfftfft...
Mimlemel: Great. It broke.
Lyria: Oh no! What should we do?
Mimlemel: Don't worry. It's easy to fix.
Vyrn: Mmhmm. It doesn't look so bad.
Vyrn: Can we get the wood to fix it from your forest?
Mimlemel: I think so...
Lyria: Then why don't we go back there and get some wood?
Mimlemel: Okay.
Lyria: Great! Let's get going, (Captain)!
Journey of the Horn: Scene 2
The party arrives at the forest where they first met Mimlemel. Mimlemel fondly remembers her first encounter with the party but refuses to admit it.
(Captain) and company return to the forest where they first met Mimlemel in order to fix her horn.
Mimlemel: How nostalgic. The forest hasn't changed.
Lyria: It sure hasn't. This is where we first met you!
Mimlemel: Yeah. I still remember that lizard's goofy face from that time.
Vyrn: Why you little! Who you calling goofy?
Lyria: Hehe. You really helped us out that day.
Mimlemel: Um... Phweet...
Vyrn: Haha! Trying to hide your embarrassment?
Mimlemel: Annoying. Be Quiet.
Lyria: Ah! You can't go in there by yourself with all those monsters around!
Mimlemel: Phweet. No problem. Bring it.
Vyrn: Humph. She's as feisty as ever. We're going in too, (Captain)!
Journey of the Horn: Scene 3
The crew secures the wood for horn repairs, but Mimlemel doesn't know how to fix her horn. While getting the horn repaired at the Knickknack Shack, Mimlemel expresses her gratitude to the crew for making the effort to help her.
Monster: Groar...
The party defeats the monsters and finds the wood needed to repair Mimlemel's horn.
Vyrn: All right. Now that horn'll be good as new!
Lyria: Yes! Take it away, Mimlemel!
Mimlemel: What?
Vyrn: Um, you've got everything you need to fix it now.
Mimlemel: But I don't know how to fix it.
Lyria: Huh?
Sierokarte: I see, I see... I should be able to fix this up with some spare supplies in the shack.
Mimlemel: Thanks.
Sierokarte: Sure! I'll have this done in no time!
Mimlemel: Toot!
Vyrn: Sigh... We went all the way back to the forest for nothin'.
Lyria: Well, at least we managed to fix the horn—
Mimlemel: Toot!
Mimlemel: It wasn't for nothing.
Vyrn: How do you figure?
Mimlemel: I'm glad everyone helped me.
Mimlemel: It was nice to see the forest again. I had fun.
Lyria: Teehee. Did you hear that, Vyrn?
Vyrn: Well, if you put it like that! If you're happy, then we're happy. Right, (Captain)?
Mimlemel, who always carries her horn with her, is a difficult individual to read.
But after this little adventure, the crew understands Mimlemel a bit better.
Sierokarte: Oh, yes. Since the horn is still under warranty, today's repairs are free.
Mimlemel: Thanks.
Sierokarte: Hehehe. Thanks for bringing me the warranty forms!
Vyrn: Gulp... That horn must be more expensive than I thought...
